Unfortunately, I think the show is going to switch from a SNL satire to an island game satire. And since I can’t stand the latter, none of it will feel funny.
Who was dropped in that episode, anyway? We got a couple new faces but somebody was missing. And will the guy under the candy machine end up dead, as a funny way to write him off? I hope not, as he was a reliable character, both as straight man and instigator.

Just out of curiosity, what are you basing that on?
And Jenna was misssing from the MILF Island episode.

Well, the obvious, that she was assigned to write something for the island star. As you say, Jenna is missing. Also the candy guy has a clear path to being written off.

No, you’re thinking of Christopher Walken, who celebrated his 100th episode hosting last week.
Including reruns.

I’m pretty sure he’s thinking of Alec Baldwin who has hosted SNL a million times also, and has been very funny.
Schwetty Balls? Hello.
The doctor on the soap opera who says “anal canal” ay-nul cay-nul.
The doctor who has delivered 100% little girls (some of whom are actually born with a penis. What percent? I don’t know. . .49, 50, 51. . .something like that).
Anyway. . .I didn’t start a “30 Rock” thread, but I gave a shout-out in the “Office” thread. “30 Rock” is the funniest show on TV right now, IMO.
I loved the bit with Gilly, “we had to have class in the boiler room where we were taught to sweep sawdust so that we could work in a factory some day.”
The side-plot with the vending machine was stupid, but they do a lot of side-plots, and they’re always hit or miss. I appreciate that they take the chance.
Next week, the Rat King returns. How funny is that dude?
Tracey Morgan is hilarious on this show. . .totally playing off the stereotype.
