Until a recent case, Cath was unaware that Sam was her father… not sure if there was ever a father mentioned… Sam was introduced early on as a “friendly father figure”… in the episode where sam gives her the check, he’s shown at a ranch, however.
Until she joined CSI/became a cop, she was a stripper… and apparently a good one.
And I haven’t, obviously. Crap. Pretty darn obvious if I had actually read the article closely. I just saw Boston Globe and assumed. Never assume.

Grissom’ll be back. After this season, no one knows yet who will be back. But this is just a sabattical because of the play Petersen is doing, Dublin Carole.
But someone is replacing him while he’s gone.

His team felt like he maybe wasn’t coming back because he didn’t really discuss it with any of them! I’m sure Hodges got wind of it and blew it up. Everyone seemed to be told within a day of his departure.
I liked the part where Nick suggested Grissom had a girlfriend - because he does. To be honest, the last episode of last season got me back into the show after two years of kind of watching it.
Why do I have this nagging thought that Grissom will return…
…as the Miniature Crime Scene Killer.
