We now play 500 instead of Scrabble - so tell me your ‘house rules’ regarding misere. We play 4 handed - with partners. If you make a misere bid, my ‘house rule’ was you needed to wait for 7 bid, and if successful, your partner sat out. Then, playing and ‘losing’ every trick. So, I would lose the first trick and it was up to the other ‘team’ to lead so I would also lose every trick. Open Misere, I play the first trick and then lay down my cards in suit order and play accordingly. My girls say they were taught that the partner sits in and you ‘win’ every trick (by losing, therefore you lead). What house rules do you play by?
