502 errors on reports

Sometimes when I go to post something, I get a 502 error.

To avoid duping, I will reload the thread to see if the post went through before trying to post again. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t.

If I get a 502 error when reporting, should I refresh until it goes through? I don’t wanna spam you all, but I would like to make sure that you get it.

Anyway, just checking for what you feel are best practices.

ETA: Mods, if you wanna change the thread title slightly, that’s cool. It is a bit disconcerting to have a tab that says “502 error” in it.

I almost refreshed out of habit.

We do get a number of duplicate reports because of the problem. Generally I think they go through. But no biggie if you want to make sure.

Yeah, I’d say it happens once in a great while. But it’s no trouble. Go ahead and do so if you want to make sure I get the report. No harm no foul.

Though, really, if a post really breaks the rules I’m going to get multiple reports about it no matter what. Great Debaters are really big reporters. Trust me on that.
