I think they are. A lot of people believe in due process, and the fact the Dems, (liberals) are basically saying the accusation = guilt is telling people the PC left is way out of control. Also the fact the Dems waited on this information it telling people on the right that this was nothing more then another political tactic and that if they really thought there was something there, they would have brought it up as soon as they knew there was an accusation.
The people who are getting this message already think that. And keep in mind, if Kavanaugh gets confirmed, he’d be the least unpopular (lowest public support) SCOTUS nominee ever confirmed.
There is already a thread about the Kavanaugh nomination. There is surely overlap in how that could impact the 538 model, but please try to keep this thread’s discussion to the model and not the Kavanugh specific stuff.
