I read of a horrible incident in Iraq-muslim terrorists broke in to a Catholic church in Baghdad-and murdered 58 people-two of them RC priests.
I have yet to see any reaction to this violence.
At any rate, why the violence against Christians? I thought that Islam treated Christians and Jews as “people of the book”-and were not to be harmed.
What does Islam have to say about this-is the murder of people of the book proscribed?
I’ve heard of mosques and muslims blown up and killed in Iraq as well with very little reaction.
As you would expect, there’s a Wikipedia article that describes the event and the international reaction.
It’s been happening since before the invasion, nothing new, And a whole lot of Shiite mosques get blown up by Sunnis and vice versa.
Why does Islam have to say anything about this? I don’t see what makes this any different than any other Iraqi of any other faith being killed.
