6/28/2024 - How was your sleep last night?

I’ve heard directly and indirectly that a lot of people didn’t sleep well last night and feel tired and burned out today. How you guys feelin’ today?

I was four beers in at the start of the debate. I don’t remember going to sleep, but I remember my 3 trips to pee overnight. On two of my three trips, our old dog Loki decided she wanted out when I returned to bed.

I had a cold coming on yesterday but slept OK. Feeling similarly bleh today. more tired than sick.

What was special about yesterday that causes you (OP) to expect there’s a pattern to be seen?

After the debate, I went to bed, had trouble falling asleep, then slept till 5, got up to pee and could not go back to sleep again.

I watched two episodes of Veep as a chaser and slept fine.

Sometimes laughter really is the best medicine.

I find paying no attention to any sort of news after about 5pm greatly improves my life. You ought to try it.

The usual 4-5 hours, but that had nothing to do with the debate, just my usual insomnia.

Eh, I slept.

All I have is one vote to offer. Can’t change a damn thing in a red state.

I woke at 1 to go pee, and didn’t get back to sleep until 3 or so. Then I dreamed heavily but don’t remember what I dreamed. Got up at 4:30, as usual.

My usual routine is to sleep until about 2 or 2:30, and then lie awake until 4:30. The Dope and some youtube videos help to pass the time until I get up. I suppose menopause is to blame.

I shivered the whole night through, but that’s what I get for sleeping in the pines where the sun never shines.

Don’t lie to me.

About as well as the night after November 8 2016. Which is to say, not well at all.
