6/6/04 Sopranos - 60th Anniversary of D-Day

He’s a punk kid? I mean, we knew that, so the scene didn’t have some awesome revelatory power, but it is in line with AJ’s character.

He’s lied to his mom about EVERYTHING this season. Why would he deviate from that behavior?

Huh? He just stood there laughing, just like everyone else, while his friend wrestled with the other guy.

Charging for a party = ready to lead a racketeering/extortion gig? Hmmm…

Look, I’ve hosted a party, when I was underage, and I charged (to help defray alcohol costs). I ain’t in the mob.

I think some of you are reeeeeeally reaching here. You’d be saying the same thing if AJ was shown selling watered-down lemonade in a stand in front of his house. It’s like commasense said – AJ’s a wuss, an idiot (both in the sense that he don’t got much book-lurnin’ and in the sense that he’s not very clever), a follower, and he lacks any sort of ambition. In short, he ain’t mob material.

Pardon me for a highjack, this is not worth a thread of its own.

Has the SERIES finale been shown in the US yet? I thought I heard something on the radio to that effect.

The episode under discussion here was the final one of the current season. HBO has said that there will be at least one more season of the series. (Did they definitely say the next would be the last?)
