Which is more likely, that an 8-year-old asked to sign a form, or that he was asked to sign a form?
Is it just me or does it seem that the school system was upset because the boy inappropriately touched another student, but the parents seem to think he was repremanded for sending love notes to said student? They don’t sound like they’re on the same page to me.
Neither, actually. What’s the point of getting him to sign anything he cannot be expected to understand anyway?
What’s more, I can’t imagine having an eight-year-old’s ‘signature’ on anything could be remotely construed as legally binding on the child.
I agree that it’s extremely odd how all mentions of the ass-grabbing disappeared as the article progressed. I suppose it’s because they don’t know the boy was the one who did it:
