That’s totally what a scorpio would say.
I got to about 20 and decided that were too many similarities, so I quit reading…guess you know what that means!
well that is neat!
All this analyzing, aren’t there better things to analyze aside from us idiots?
I don’t know if I’m an INTJ, but now I kinda wanna be.
I have taken the MB test a couple times and I vaciliate between INTP and INTJ. Both of them seem to apply and at the same time they both seem ill-fitting.
I do fit many of the INTJ signs in that list. Like the alienated feeling, the addictive personality, and the angry thinking face. But then there are others that don’t apply. I’m not “unwavering” and I don’t dole out consequences hastily or otherwise. I don’t converse in layers of sarcasm or lofty reference, and have low tolerance for people who do this.
I wish they would do a similar list for the other introverted personality types.
I wouldn’t let that list of 80 items affect your judgment of which MB personality type describes you, or even what the personality types mean. As Chronos said, half of those items are either meaningless or would fit any of the personality types.
For example “78. You relish having the last word or lasting impression” - who doesn’t? Maybe it’s more important for some than others, but “I like to be upstaged and forgotten” is hardly a common trait.
Then there’s “8. You have a secret rebellious streak.” Who doesn’t?
“2. You didn’t have to look up disenchanting just now.” INTJ is about 2% of the population, and I guarantee you that more than 2% of the population knows that word. Even as a general comment about vocabulary size, INTJ has no particular stranglehold on vocabulary.
And some of the items, including “1. You feel like an alien visiting a distant planet” are just complete nonsense.
No, I feel like that, a lot. And I deal with people professionally and personally extensively every single day. I’m outrageously normal in most respects, don’t have any social issues.
But damn, I don’t understand these humans most of the time.
It stands for, “I think I’m a lot smarter than I actually am.”
Most dopers are INTJs then huh
Well poo poo on you too!
It all sounds a lot like "horror"scopes. Each category though does explain at least a few different aspects of the person.
Just as
Someone with a personality defect will not have all of the symptom where another patient has others plus what the first patient does.
Its all just very interesting to me though
