80s comedy sketch

can anyone help me recall a comedy sketch that came on on a Fri evening…mid 80s…there where 4 main characters in it i think…a bit like…not the nine oclock news type of show…only scene i can remember which was repeated each week in a different way was where someone or a couple would get turned away from entering the cinema by a ‘jobsworth’ ticket collector…the funny end to the scene was the ticket collector suggesting to the couple that they should take a 180 degrease turn and go away basicly…does it ring any bells with anyone as i would love to know which programme it was…i always looked forward to watching it…any idea’s anyone!

No idea, but I requested this be moved to cafe society.

Welcome to the SDMB, churchillium. There is a list of forum here, with brief descriptions of each forum, to help you post in the right area – though it’s not a big deal when a moderator has to move a thread. I’ve moved your question to Cafe Society, where we talk about TV, plus movies, music, books, cooking, crafts, etc.

Enjoy your time here!

Pulp Video. A spiritual successor to Naked Video and precursor to Chewin’ the Fat.

One of the jobworth sketches is about 5:25 into this clip.
