I thought that folks around here might like to know that newsreel company British Pathé has uploaded over 85,000 of its videos to YouTube for general viewing.

There’s an amazing collection of stuff, from politics and war to sports and entertainment.

BBC and all of the UK channels have had their documentaries online also for years. You almost don’t need a television sets as they are so entertaining that you could watch them instead.

Watching any show without commercial interruption is a delightful treat! I’ve just started on Lilyhammer, Life on Mars, and Broadchurch, all on line.

I’m looking forward to searching for material on the Edwardian era and Titanic on the Pathe site. Also WWs I and II. I can never get enough of those!
