I like the fact that they’ve referenced The Wizard of Oz. I thought they’d make a little more of the fact that this is the diamond anniversary of Hollywood’s Greatest Year.
(I also like Whoopi’s comment on how in those days you only got to see it once a year. That’s something the children of the home video/DVD/On Demand era kind of miss out on…the “specialness” of a once-a-year viewing.)
Oh, and good on Pink for including the introductory verse of “Over The Rainbow.”

I think Pink is great, and she’s got a powerhouse of a voice … but why take a breath between “O” and “Ver”?

She took WAY too many breaths in general. You needed someone with a powerful voice to sing that and sing it loud, she was too artistic with it.
yeah, she was good. i just like when those two sing together and it doesn’t happen that often. their voices combined sound like judy.
