By my count, we will lose 23 of the 48 entrants this weekend. 14 entrants have already been eliminated by picking the Chiefs, Saints or Colts. And nine (9) people each have picked either the Packers or the Eagles and will be eliminated later today.
Due to my ‘expert’ picking of two teams with ‘byes’, I have reached the quarterfinals, along with 24 others. WOOT WOOT!
Well, I wouldn’t say eliminated. I believe some winners in years past (Dale for sure) only got one team right and won the whole thing.
I guess that shouldn’t be too surprising since they’re both #1 seeds. (I’m guilty of picking a 1 and 2 seed.) I don’t know the last time two #1 seeds met in the Superbowl. It seems very rare.
EDIT: Okay, as rare as last year. Colts and Saints were both #1 seeds. D’oh.

The actual over/under of 39 is closer to my o/u of 41 (compared to fachverwirrt’s 59) so I’d get the win, right?
