Why is the price of a gallon of gas always qouted down to 9/10ths of a cent. Nothing else I can think of is priced that way. Is it simply to make the price look cheaper than it is? Or is there a more interesting reason. I’m about using 1/10th of my brain thinking about this.
This is being discussed in another thread, so I’ll close this one and direct further comment to the earlier thread: Why do all gasoline prices have that extra “9”?
