Not so sure. This was posted more or less an hour ago in the “Optometrist or Ophthalmologist” thread:
“The optician is largely a fashion industry, so (here in flyover states) the employees are mostly still girls, and readily identifiable as such.”
Calling adult women ‘girls’ is demeaning and devaluing, the definition of hate speech.
