I love filarial nematodes. In the classroom, my filariasis lecture is my favorite. Students seem to fall into 2 camps - either fascinated or disgusted.

Are those 2 camps really mutually exclusive? Seems to me that the overlap is huge, judging by some of the reactions to TMI threads here.

Oh great, six years? I got cat spit in my eye (cat, back of couch, sneeze), and have been waiting for wigglers to appear. I ran and stuck my head under running water as fast as I could get there.
