So Google Maps seems to have a hard limit of 10 stops. But otherwise works great for me and on my phone.

I have long used Google Maps as a way of telling how to get from Point A to Point B. It has never occurred to me that it could or should tell me how to get from Point A to Point B to Point C (aside from just waiting until I get to Point B and then asking it how to get to Point C from there).
It works pretty well, but the 10 stop limit can be annoying. I’m planning a 2-3 day trip currently and hit the limit early, so I’m breaking it up into 2-3 routes.
Agree. I use it for designing my own custom walking tours when visiting cities for the first time, and I usually need to break the route into two or three maps. I was unaware of the workaround tool and will investigate with great interest.
Testing the tool, it did not work well.
