A bird just flew into my window.

Silly birds. It was fine, after it bounced off, it flew the other direction.

I was reminded of the time years ago that I was walking somewhere with my mom at night, and a bird came out of nowhere to fly at my face. I blocked it, and deflected it …right into my mother! Oops.

A mourning dove flew into my sliding glass door a couple of weeks ago. I was sitting just a couple of feet away and it scared the pee diddles out of me. He/she seemed okay though, thank goodness.

I used to find stiff little corpses of Kamikaze Birds on the patio in front of my sliding glass doors. It bothered me, so I went out and got some sheer curtains to hang up on the inside. Problem solved. The light can still come in, and the birds won’t try to fly through.

I have also seen adhesive strips that you can attach to your windows. You can’t see them, but the birds can.

A bat crashed through my guardian’s window one night. Changed his life.
