Yeah, I want to cuss out the mods. I freely admit it. It’s probably childish, but what are my other choices when a mod does something I disagree with? Start a Pit thread and have it locked and me get a warning? Move it to ATMB and have no one in a position of authority take it seriously and then it get locked? Wow, those options totally fucking work (not)!
Know what? Venting my spleen at the dumbass who gets creative while “enforcing” the rules is about as useful as the options I mentioned above, but it would make me feel a helluva lot better than being patronized and then ignored by those very same mods. And before anyone tells me that maybe I should “treat mods with respect,” I have done so in the past:

Agreed. It’s not like the mods couldn’t take it. Most of them could dish it out as well as anyone. Those who couldn’t would leave. And we were all happy with that.

How about just reading whatever the mod wrote that you didn’t like, feeling some mild displeasure for a moment, and then moving on?
If you want to live your life not standing up for when people do things that are wrong, that’s your prerogative. But, as far as I’m concerned, that means you’re just as guilty as the people who do wrong.
The only way to make sure that those in authority do not abuse their power is to make sure someone is monitoring them, and that someone makes it inconvenient to do wrong.

These words and beliefs seem way out of proportion with what we’re talking about, and maybe that’s at least half the problem. In addition to being delicate little flowers, it seems that some people think that a minor slight on a message board is a crime against decency and humanity.
