A Buffy / Angel game... for fans..

Just for the record - lover’s walk… spike’s rant to buffy and angel at the end, just before he goes off to ‘torture dru until she likes me again.’

Have to admit I’m not sure about tengu’s quote offhand… my first thought was ‘when she was bad’, but that was “use the force, Luke.” (Xander and willow playing movie quotes.)

That’s the scene…I just misremembered the line.

ChrisK - you’re entitled to post a question; you were right.

But since I can’t help myself…

**Well, did you try looking inside the sofa in Hell? **

Willow to Anya in “Dopplegangland.”

“Dad can drive. He’s bound to have some classic midlife-crisis transport. Something red, shiny, shaped like a penis”

That was Buffy to… Dawn?
in… The Real Me… ? maybe…

then they see Giles’ new car…

ok… if that’s right here is mine…

Mumble Grumble

Spike to the group about Giles in Tabula Rosa.

I have nothing on mumble grumble… so I’m gonna post a new one to draw attention away from my inferiority.

“Am I Late? Did I miss any expostion?”

"Am I Late? Did I miss any expostion?"
Hey! I just watched that one last night! It’s Willow to the gang in Family.
**
Mumble Grumble**

Er, Um. Hmm. Is that the actual line, or a stage direction? I have no freakin’ clue.

What we once were informs all that we have become.

Okay, if I’m entitled, here’s one:

That’s Anya talking to Giles after they consulted the floating eye in the portal in the alleyway and learned that Buffy’s being brought back to life gave The First the opening to start its plans. “It’s Show Time.”

That’s Darla, talking to Angelus after Angelus has killed his father in a flashback, Season 1 of Angel, the episode where we see Kate’s father is mixed up in something shady and he’s killed by demons from the auto-parts place before Angel can get in the door to save him… I don’t remember the name of the episode.

This is the crack team that foils all my plans? I am deeply shamed.

Spike to gang, Something Blue. YES!

Giles, arguing with Wesley in ‘bad girls’, just before they were captured by the acolytes of Balthazar.

to clarify a point of order: are ‘angel, the series’ quotes allowed too?

My turn:
"I think we need to talk. But not here – not now."

Only thing that comes to mind here is Angel’s break-up speech to Buffy after Joyce visits Angel in “The Prom.”

And since we’re in a Season 3 mood:

I’m starting to lean towards the humus offensive.

Good memory!!

I’ll let someone else take the humus offensive.

It’s definately a reference to Oz’s “We could go after the Mayor with hummus.” comment (when asked for a worse plan). I’m thinking Cordelia to Buffy in Graduation Day pt. 1?

“That’s the kind of woolly-headed, liberal thinking that leads to being eaten.”

Xander to the group, Graduation Day - Part 2. (although, of course it was Oz who first proposed, “We attack the Mayor with humus,” when Cordelia said they couldn’t come up with a crazier plan than Buffy’s.)

**Mumble Grumble ** is still in play, and I still have no idea.

OK, these two really go together in a sublime way, even though maybe it’s bending the rules to have two lines. They were part of a conversation though, one following the other.:

So, you threw me through those glass doors, slammed me against the wall, pushed me onto the bed and took what you wanted.
It seemed like the thing to do. At the time.

Thats Darla and Angel in the Angel episode “Quickening.”

Is Snyder in the Puppet Show…I think talking to Giles

“It’s a big Rock. I can’t wait to tell all my friends. None of them have a rock this big.”

That’s Spike talking to Angelus, when he’s procured the big chunk that has The Judge. No episode name is coming to mind.

No quote from me because I don’t have a full answer here…

Innocence is the episode where they take on The Judge.

** Oh, okay. Um… say you really like shrimp a lot. Or we could say you don’t like shrimp at all. “Blah, I wish there weren’t any shrimp,” you’d say to yourself **

Yes, this is true. But while this quote is Spike to Angelus, it’s not about the judge, and sadly, not from innocence.
The shrimp quote is Anya talking to Buffy about alternate universes and then explaining it to the whole group in the episode “Superstar”
