Whoosh, then. I’ll go home now.
My bold.
No, no… that’s exactly what you SHOULD be doing! Googling cat pictures, videos, cartoons, etc. always takes precedence over any other available activity, except possibly saving a life or giving birth.
I shall now go and do the same. And be a better person for it.
I think you’re right about Maine Coon in the family tree.
He’s a beauty. Love the spotted nose!
Well, apparently, some people are trying to cross-breed Maine Coon colorpoints, sort of like Puggles or Labradoodles.
Still Googling cat pictures, and a few dog pictures. Maine Coon lolcats are great.
What a handsome fellow, and that princely tail, oh my!
When has a cat needed size for that?
Oh YES! Like, he never shuts up. He’s the most “talkative”, attention-demanding cat I’ve ever met. He likes to roust us from bed at ungodly hours. Last night I was up past 2:30AM, and when I turned off my Kindle to go to sleep, that’s when Ghost decided to come have a “conversation” with me.
He’s definitely not deaf. His markings have very obviously darkened in just the three+ weeks we’ve had him - his head markings were very pale gray when we got him. The only marking on his body is a largish, light tan patch on his right side, which was barely noticeable when we got him, but has darkened slightly. His paws are all white, but he has small dark spots on the backs of his hind legs, and a dark patch on the back of his right foreleg.
I grew up with Siamese mixes (my aunt had a purebred female who would occasionally encounter a "traveling salesman) - I had one that slept on my bed from the time I was 4 years old until I was 22. Nothing about Ghost is especially suggesting “Siamese” to me (except maybe the talkativeness), and he’s not nearly as wiry as the colorpoint photos I’ve Googled. He’s built more like this one here:

He definitely has the Maine coon tail. I’ve never seen another cat IRL with a tail like his.
You should call him DONALD…because he’s YUUUUGE.
Sorry…I’ll slink away now.
Nice kitty though, hope it brings you a yuuuuge lot of happiness.
He looks like a fine fellow. I hope that you have many happy years together!
A lovely cat! Welcome to the cat club!
Looks like he could be part ragdoll, which might explain his size. I’ve read that those ones get big early and don’t really stop growing until they’re almost 3.
May you have many years of amenable coexistence.
Yes, maybe Ragdoll as **Smapti **suggested or Snowshoe Cat.
He’s a beauty!
As I’m reading this, and reminiscing about my late last two, Cats cast is doing Memories in the Thanksgiving Day Parade…
And Ghost’s a beauty!
I can’t even *think *about that song without crying…
What a beaut! Congratulations
As was I.
Mr. & Mrs. Rik are now forming their future happy memories!
Wow beautiful
Please take Ghost back to the shelter so he has a chance for a stable family, not a couple of alcoholics. PLEASE. This is not a safe home for him.
This is an unecessary and out of line. Open a Pit thread if you must.
