Now y’all have done it. He’s typing in all caps. What’s next, grape-colored text? “Oh, the humanity!”
As pointed before, it is not really related to the “scientific” racists, AFAIK as soon as it was known that people like Plomin were involved they got into trouble, you need a big fat cite to show that the classroom streaming concepts are coming back because of genetic reasons and thanks to “scientific” racists.
She actually helped elect a peanut brain white president to demonstrate how a minority one was better. ![]()
Of course this shows how small the support for the scientific racists is getting, but that is not a problem as atruelove claims later in contradiction:
Your mind is going as we can see here, must be the genes.
Cite for that Cary saying that? Just acknowledge what ignorant contradictory guy you are. As the LA times reported, the scientific racists are actually dying and leaving no legacy to talk about.
CITE (in Upper case because this is obviously of prime importance to members of this Group). Conservatives promise return to grammar schools – but only in Wales
"Conservatives promise return to grammar schools – but only in Wales
David Cameron’s refusal to allow the creation of new grammar schools will come under fresh pressure as his own Conservative Party promises a return to selective education in Wales. "
No of course no politician would dare to mention g factor. It’s all Nudge-Nudge-Wink-Wink.
CITE: “How Old Cary Grant?” “Old Cary Grant Fine, How You?” – Quote Investigator®
So, of course, no cite is available about the “scientific” racists being consulted for that conservative move, that figures.
And of course, just as I suspected, even the tall tale did not mention anything about racism, it was just you making a dumb joke that only showed to all the joke that you are.
Do delusions of persecution, delusions of grandeur and attention-deficit disorder frequently coincide? I don’t expect Alan is particularly special in this regard, but I’m certainly no expert.
On the contrary, UK scientific racists have been pushing for this obvious return to England’s glory days since 1953 or so, with specific reference to the efficiency of teaching streamed classes, and/or getting back to the three tiered selective (through IQ test, the ‘‘11-plus’ exam, of course) goverment secondary schools, Grammar, Secondary Modern, and Technical. [I didn’t need to benefit from this since I went to a ’ Public’ school (i.e. non-government. fee-paying, school–confusing ain’t it?) the City of London School. Guess who also by-passed the Government system which had been buggered by the Labour Party, the son of a notorious Labour American-born Black MP Oona King, who went to - erm - the same school! ] [CITE/] See gfactor.blogspot.com by Chris Brand weekly archives for the last 30 years and the frequent references and links to UK scientific racists on precisely this topic.[/CITE]
Well, maybe a dumb joke, but it fits.
It ain’t persecution if they are really out to get you. American Mensa Crooks (convicted stock swindler Gabe Werba, decd [CITE/] see SEC records - 1000’s of copies were distributed at Mensa conventions[/CITE] and others had a nice little scam going, siphoning off $75K or so annually from Mensa dues for ‘Advertising’ thru companies that gave them kickbacks. [Just about the only ad that surfaced was in - erm - Ebony. [CITE/] I can give you the name of an expert lawyer who analyzed the fake advertising expenditures and showed fraud, but he may not respond [/CITE]. I don’t consider myself grand, just remarkably persistent (world’s longest membership harassment suit) and able to produce Legal documents in a few hours. As to attention, members of this thread brought up the name of my son and me (which is perfectly OK) to which I have responded politely and as briefly as possible, with CITES. You dealt this mess. One may ask, do persistent beliefs in discredited anti-scientific theories go with some members of Lists LIKE this - I am certainly not criticizing anyone here. In my 30 years experience on the Internet, yes. Incredibly some Mensa members even trotted out over and over the same wishful thinking and canards on IQ, even though the group and its admission policies (and its suggester, Sir Cyril Burt) were solidly based on the facts (now established for the last 30 years, altho’ perhaps controversial at the time).
Oh those glory days were were there were virtually no minorities and there was no reason for scientific racists to be involved there since the poor were also mostly white?
Again, no evidence whatsoever that the grubby hands of the scientific racists were involved, it is just old fashion class struggle.
“Insanity runs in my family. It practically gallops.” -Cary Grant in Arsenic and Old Lace.
Hoookay… I’m going to read schematic manuals so I can get used to Mr. Trulove’s writing style. It may be helpful if fig. 1) and fig. 2) examples appear in a paragraph.
Well, West Indians were beginning to be imported to do jobs that Englishmen would not do. I have to admit that the Grammar Schools vs the other 2 types were heavily biased in favor of upper middle classes, because their primary schools were better (location), and because of the environment of intelligent book-reading parents. (And because of inherited IQ). But the real intelligent kid could qualify thru the 11-plus exam. The Tories grudgingly want to return to this unfair/biased set-up, because they got the votes a few wks ago. We shall see how recent immig. kids, esp. Indian/Paki, do… but this is a topic for UK based lists. UK Scientific racists will continue to pressure against affirmative action, esp. regarding discipline problems…
Tap dancing, I was talking about what happened before, so the point stands. Grammar schools were a tool that left many poor white people at a disadvantage. It was indeed a class issue, not a race one.
And still no evidence showing that your racist buddies had a part or having a say on how the change will be implemented now.
This guy also gallops… but like a Gish. ![]()
Why am I not surprised a racist of your caliber is using extremely offensive ethnic slurs in your posts?
Well, it certainly seems as though delusions of persecution, delusions of grandeur, and attention-whore disorder coincide.

20. Realism is back, 1992-1995 — ‘g’ as the answer to behaviourism, constructivism and the comprehensive ‘schools’ [Comprehensive schools were Labour’s ill-fated attempt to replace the Grammar/Secondary Modern/Technical school segregation. I taught 1 year at one of the first Comprehensives, , Woodbury Downs, N. London, and it was v pleasant.]
This long article doesn’t say much specifically about Comprehensives, but 30 years of weekly blogs from Chris Brand most definitely do, and provide reviews and comments on his fellow Cognitive Scientists, (“The so-called London school”) e…g. H. J. Eysenck (nicknamed “I zink yr policemen are wonderful”) and his many books. I hate to bother Chris Brand by dragging in another List of (excuse me, no offense) Racial-difference Deniers, having already been thru this with a Mensa list 20 years ago.
Regarding Mensa’s rip-off crooks, I now have this expert assessment from a lawyetr but will not divulge his name w/o his permission: “What we do have is [Convicted stock swindler - see SEC Cites - Chmn of American and Intl Mensa] Gabe] Werba making 3/4 of a million vanishing, with only 49% of that solidly shown to have been spent on advertising Mensa. In the six years this was going on, Werba’s generosity could morph from donating his own work time to a charity into just giving huge globs of money to various nonprofits.”.
Alan
I suppose you mean 'Paki" ? This is a perfectly acceptable abbreviation in the UK and no slur is implied. Do you want to keep typing out ‘Pakistani’ ?
I went thru this 20 years ago w my first post to a UK Mensa List. They practically choked on the use of the word 'C…ks" for Chinese. Back then, I guess no one in England had heard the common American expression “Let’s go eat C…ks”.
You finally got one thing right.
This isn’t a UK board. And it doesn’t seem to be “perfectly acceptable” in the UK. Well, that is unless you’re setting yourself up as a more proficient judge of the English language than a number of available online English dictionaries. Given your pathetic grasp of English grammar, spelling, and usage, I’m going to go with the dictionaries instead of you.
Why wouldn’t I prefer to use an acceptable term instead of a slur? After all, I’m not the social outcast here; you are.
Wow. You really are a piece of work.
Cocks?
And your use of abbreviation has been otherwise so consistent and rational.
