I have two Bachelor’s Degrees from an accredited and well-regarded university and I would be ashamed, ashamed!, to present myself in as garbled and incoherent a fashion as you are doing. Please put at least several minutes of effort into editing your posts and with enough practice, your writing skills will sufficiently improve such that self-editing becomes automatic, leading to a significant improvement in clarity.
And if you won’t, get lost and stay so.
‘My quotes are more efficient than the prescribed method.
Uh. No. It is not.’
Fine you do it your way, I’ll do it mine.
‘It was not a ‘political protest’ it was the action of a cowardly deafcer who stole and vandalized public property in the name of his insane beliefs. It is my hope that the law will persecute him to the maximum degree and that the rest of society will shun him for his cowardice and stupidity until he repents and apolgizes personally to every single Sandy Hook victim’s family.’
No argument here.(The views are incorrect, but the use of this incident for gun control is well established) But the law has already done its thing – and the rest of society doesn’t give a damn. (A forensic pysch aquaintance in London: “Showed great ingenuity” – drove to Conn and NJ, purchased special screwdrivers, and did it w/o being seen) Let me make it clear I disapprove and want Andrew to get healthy- not unusual in bipolar cases. So far he ain’t apologized but I will work on him.
“Are you threatening the owners of this message board with possible future legal action?” No. I have no reason to, and I’m sure they will act responsibly. Mensa didn’t , and they and their Provider got stuck w.
a second Fed suit which cost them. The provider said in a leaked memo “pls stop these a**holes (Mensa)” The law has since toughened up, and Providers are wary. They can and have been held liable for libel.
‘I’m certainly no Mensa member, rather stupid in fact, but I’m pretty sure you don’t know your ass from a hole in the ground about what you can legally get away with in the real world, much less here.’ Really? Ask Mensa how they feel about $750,000 in legal fees and costs to me. Seems I do know my ass from hole in ground. (W. quite a lot of help from pro bono lawyers…)
‘Your name-dropping of Shockley is telling and appropriate. Take your racial bigotry and your moronic fuckwit progeny and move to a part of Syria controlled by ISIS. I’ll even put in a word with the State Department to ease your passage away from these shores that my people have proudly inhabited for over 400 generations. The thought of your and yours on this continent is physically sickening to me. Cretin.’ Shockley address a mtg in my house, attended by the future mother of my kids 4 and 5, a good time was had by all. No bigot here, I taught at a Black U. for 20 yrs. Well, I’ve occupied these shores for 56 years, have 15 direct descendants, all US citizens w some dual Brit. It’s too late now, baby,it’s too late. Hope you get over yr sickness. Most of my work has been not unadjacent to combatting ISIS and the like, I have received commendations & I’m proud. What have you done?
“Curiously Shockley had a similar disdain of the capacities of his sons.” No problems as regards kids 1-3, I love nos. 4,5, and the 2 extra granddaughters make it all worth while.
Shockley’s views are now established facts for the last 30 years. See Jensen’s ‘g factor’, 30 pages of peer-reviewed studies, with not a single dissent. Well, his suggestion for the high-IQ to have more kids paid off that nite as far as I’m concerned—see above.
‘And the same levels of victory in frivolous lawsuits. The big problem in following a path like Shockley is to not only piss away one’s legacy, but also a path to economical ruin and loss of friends and family.’ Well he seemed pretty happy to me, and he did invent the transistor. I don’t call a 4 yr lawsuiit that screwed Mensa for $750,000 and got the Judge’s nasty comment, frivolous. I was reprimanded by the Judge for enjoying it too much.
“I propose to obey rules etc. & I’m in good health. Why don’t you ask Mensa how they feel about pissing away $750,000 in legal fees, and costs to me?” “I’m clearly not anywhere near as smart as you, so I’m not entirely sure what it is you’re trying to say here. Can you clarify for me? Please, be explicit and explain like you would to a five-year-old. Thanks!” The above stands for itself . Let me summarize. I plan to be a rule-abiding member of this estimable and high-superior web-site. Best wishes
“There isn’t an essay section on the Mensa Test…” No, I passed the quiz (one of the Cattell quizs).
“Plus I have a PhD in Math (UCLA).”“ Not quite likely” Huh? 1969; dissertation “Betting in Favorable Games’”
”Then why is the rest of your post a garbled mess? “ Pls relate what you don’t understand, I would be glad to expand.

I’m enjoying this too much.
“he’ll be gone …” all i have done is correct misinformation re Andrew ("abduction?) and respond politely to comments. What troll?
Indeed, and as for “Shockley’s views are now established facts for the last 30 years.” No, they are not facts, virtually all the experts do not agree.
As for Jensen’s ‘g factor’ there is no consensus as to what causes the positive inter-correlations, this troll does not know what he he is talking about, and following a neo-nazi does not gives him any good points.
Before you get any ideas, Montana’s full up.
Besides, I have to wonder what an advanced degree in mathematics or the physical sciences means about someone’s qualifications outside of mathematics.
“We have a famous internet and real world troll in our midst.” You provided a link to the Breitbart-correcting website, so I am bound to provide a brief reply.
‘in 2001, he provided “statistical oversight” on a paper by Numbers USA, an organization linked to white supremacists that opposes immigration reform with alarmist messages about population growth.’ A squeaky clean org with over 1 million members whose msgs re pop growth are 100% accurate.
“Five years later, Truelove was a plaintiff in a lawsuit by right wing organization Judicial Watch against the city of Herndon, which had set up an assembly point for day laborers.” Right –illegals taking American jobs; Herndon were ordered to desist.
By that time, Truelove had already become very familiar with torts. In the 1970s, he sued Mensa, the international organization for people with high intelligence, beginning more than two decades of personal drama with the group. In 1993, Truelove was suspended from the Mensa internet forums over his constant legal threats and racist trolling ‘ erm, no. Because I exposed the massive thefts of Stockswindler and Mensa chair Gabe Werba (decd). See previous posts where Mensa were stuck with $750,000 legal bills, and costs to me.
He also sued his son’s therapists in 1996, claiming they made false statements during a custody hearing. (UPDATE: the therapist, Frank Meadows, is a Christian ministry prayer therapist.) They did make false statements, stopped harassing Andrew, and the therapist faced criminal charges for stalking an underage girl patient. Some Christian! I won a decision in Fed Appeals Court “Truelove was right”.
Well, I hope UCLA is ashamed on his behalf.
Seems that others already did, he claims that Mensa was stuck with $750,000 in legal bills, and costs to him (implying that he won something), but the papers I see do not report that number, in reality the case was dismissed. L-Soft prevailed. (L-soft was the group that hosted Mensa was the one involved in the lawsuit, not Mensa)

‘Indeed, and as for “Shockley’s views are now established facts for the last 30 years.” No, they are not facts, virtually all the experts do not agree.’ To repeat, there are 30 pages of peer reviewed studies in Jensen’s G factor, and not a single study against. It is commonly accepted that IQ is mainly hereditary (80% is a typical figure). This accounts for inter-racial differences. The mean IQ difference between Afro-American and White races is substantial (one st dev.). Like most researchers I treat this as a dead issue and waste of time, and opt not to engage in further discussion.
‘Well, I hope UCLA is ashamed on his behalf.’ On the contrary I get invited to conferences etc.
I looked into it briefly, also, and I get the impression his cheering supporters consist of the voices in his head. I’m disinclined to trust any claim he makes, and the fact that he insists on making them with deliberate incoherence doesn’t help.
No wonder as what you claim is not the whole truth, Many do accept that bit of inheritance, but it works the same for all, claiming that that works just for some races is not commonly accepted.
Not for biology, stick to math.

There were 2 lawsuits (1) Ran 4 years, cost Mensa 750,000 in legal fees (present day ) as estimated by knowledgeable lawyers, and Costs to myself over 4 figures (for not showing up), and a nasty remark by the Judge. Good enough for me. I was reinstated.
(2) Against Mensa and L-soft. L-soft leaked memo showing they regretted hosting Mensa. Mensa ate its legal costs (also large…). The law giving responsibility for L-Soft et al has since tightened up in the US and UK. Massive suits by individuals libeled in Lists have been won against Providers in the UK.
Ekers: ‘I get the impression his cheering supporters consist of the voices in his head. I’m disinclined to trust any claim he makes, and the fact that he insists on making them with deliberate incoherence doesn’t help.” No, I received support from lawyers experienced in Fraudulent Membership-harrassing cases. (And subsequent law articles quote these cases as ‘how not to’). Pls list the incoherence, I would be glad to expand.
GIGObuster “Many do accept that bit of inheritance, but it works the same for all, claiming that that works just for some races is not commonly accepted.” Who claims that? The IQ averages for different races are well-established. Read Jensen; and Chris Brand “the g factor” (avail free on the internet).
Well, he’s a compulsive jerk and his son is a bipolar criminal, so maybe there’s some genetics at play.
Don’t think so, the fact that you did not mention L-soft shows that no one can trust your say so’s. You need links to demonstrate that.
Virtually all researchers that I looked at in previous discussions. Most of the dumb “scientific” racists are experts on misrepresenting what the researchers are doing, racists point at inheritance rates of intelligence and tell others that that shows a difference in intelligence among races when the researches in the very papers point that that is not the case.
Already did, not fit for publication on a journal of science. As I pointed before it offers no evidence of a gene that is behind. It remains a construct that is the product of statistical calculations. Most geneticists continue to report on the lack of evidence that genes are the most important factor for a difference in intelligence among races, many environmental factors are likely to be involved too.
Making your posts hard to read and harder to follow is simply rude and sloppy. I’d rather you did it the proper way so that proper notation & quotation can be made.
And it went nowhere.
As I noted, even morning DJ in other states are calling what this guy did cowardly.
I’ve known enough bipolar folks to know that it is not an excuse for illegal actions. Most bipolar criminal activities seem to stem from substance abuses and not from a self-centered desire to taunt the family of victims of a horrible crime.
Nope, at least not in those administered by Mensa (they also accept other results, some of which do include essay sections). It’s all pictures. This is intended to lower the effect of training, culture and education, but the problem is that people do get trained in “picture reading” (or not) as much as we get trained in language reading - just not so deliberately. You can use the same little pictures in every country, but within any given country you’ll have people who have been taught to read maps vs. those who have not. I’m not sure how much something like dyslexia would affect all that “count wavy lines… count straight lines…” stuff, either.
I’d never heard of anybody kicked out of Mensa - it’s always “remember, you have to be able to count lines, you don’t have to be a decent human being. Or capable of spelling.” I’m amazed both that you were asshole enough to get kicked out, and that you love looking at the little card so much that you’d sue for readmission. Do you jerk off to it?
It’s not that we don’t understand. It’s that your manual quoting a) doesn’t identify who you’re quoting, b) makes it much harder to parse what’s a quote and what’s your contribution.
Your spelling and grammar also contribute to making you difficult to read, which is why the “no essay part of the MENSA-test” quip was made. Your clueless/deadpan-response to this then identifies you as either a dumbass or a dick, or both. Your other contributions in this thread strongly support the “both”-hypothesis.
Poor writing skills and poor reading comprehension often go hand in hand along with a certain Dunning-Kruger-effect. An apt comparison would be to a Sunday driver asking why race drivers need such smooth and perfect raceways with banked corners etc., when you, a complete novice, can easily drive to the store and back on a road full of potholes. Well, it’s because they drive five times as fast as you. Now stop slowing is down or at least admit that its inefficient.
GIGObuster:
“Don’t think so, the fact that you did not mention L-soft shows that no one can trust your say so’s. You need links to demonstrate that. “
The 2nd suit was filed in Federal District Court, Eastern Maryland (base of L-Soft), and Mensa and L-Soft were defendants. It ran about 2 years, and L-Soft were v. annoyed, as indicated by leaked memo, as they had to reply at length. Now they would be even more careful, because the Congressional “we have no responsibility” cop-out has been demolished.
“Virtually all researchers that I looked at in previous discussions. Most of the dumb “scientific” racists are experts on misrepresenting what the researchers are doing, racists point at inheritance rates of intelligence and tell others that that shows a difference in intelligence among races when the researches in the very papers point that that is not the case.” No, not true. Go thru the 30 pages of peer-reviewed research in Jensen G-factor, There is no misrepresentation. This is a settled issue. Feel free to contact Chris Brand, brand@crispian.demon.co.uk . There are masses of articles on this subject and any other explanation has been decisively rejected. He will confirm that virtually all qualified experts agree that genetics plays a large part. (certainly environment contributes) But don’t expect other experts to bother to answer.
“As I pointed before it offers no evidence of a gene that is behind.” Wrong. Recent studies have identified a number of alleles. See Plomin etc. Good luck w yr studies.
MIskatonic: Making your posts hard to read and harder to follow is simply rude and sloppy. I’d rather you did it the proper way so that proper notation & quotation can be made.” OK, point taken, I will work hard at the necessary procedure
“Use of this incident for gun control…; And it went nowhere…” Oh I don’t know. Validation of 2nd amend. Rights seems to be growing in the various states. As a Brit, I am horrified as this permitted display of weapons , even in Public Libraries etc. (SC e.g.)
“As I noted, even morning DJ in other states are calling what this guy did cowardly.” Andrew tells me that he deliberately posted pictures knowing that they contained gps flags, so in a sense he gave himself up. I agree that sending pictures with a f***-you finger – and the telephone conversations-- to the 2 moms was-erm- not nice.(Understatement-irony). I have, and will continue, to ping on Andrew to mend his ways and –e.g. –send some kind of apology. No substance abuse here, I can guarantee you. For bi-polar condition, you would have to refer to extensive literature.
Nava; {Mensa tests are) “all pictures.” No, Cattell tests involve word responses. Mensa did the best they could in getting a license for this highly profit-making activity. The results are well correlated with g-factor.
‘…that you love looking at the little card so much that you’d sue for readmission.” Well, I did, and this is the longest Membership case in history (poss. Except for the golf-club member who cut off a bird’s neck). But don’t forget I got enormous enjoyment. Running up the fed Court steps was the equiv. of 2 martinis. This also encouraged other members who were being harassed. The nice little scams of Gabe Werba (barred stockswindler) and his friends (including travelling around the world at Mensa’s expense to no purpose) appear to have stopped so Mensa owe me a vote of thanks! And I got 8 years of Elected American Mensa national office, and – at the least - two lovely addl grand-daughters … don’t knock it!
There is no misrepresentation. This is a settled issue.
It seems you have a severe reading comprehension issue.
Must be the genes.
Read it again, I do not have much of a problem with the g factor, the problem is with the explanation** a few** think why it is there.
And since cites are not provided by you I will have to assume that you are just a common woo woo proponent; as many of them are you are even afraid of what we all deduce once we see the quality of the sources that you use.
The same lack of cites about the outcome of the cases also shows that we are more correct, you cannot be trusted as a reliable source.
