My post was not directed at either as can be noted by my addressing the OP in my post. Not a biggie as it was just a note, but I wanted to set the record straight.

This upset me too. Your post implying that Colette8 was trolling clearly deserved its own separate mod note, and neither mine nor running coach’s was mentioned at all.

But you know, I decided to stay away from that thread rather than defending my stance. I don’t think her daughter has done a damn thing wrong and I don’t see the need for the OP’s histrionics.
Well, it isn’t really your job to police the OP on her own emotional state and reactions, is it? She said she came from Texas and lived in a bit of a bubble, which would be quite a change to California and having her daughter being in a completely different bubble.
Let her have her own reactions. She responded very well to the support she was given.
Police? How the hell was I policing her? First, it’s a public message board, if she didn’t want opinions she shouldn’t have taken her issue public.
Second, I lived in Texas until I was 35. So I’m quite familiar with the mindset. My daughter (now 35 herself) lives in Texas. She was originally married to a man. That fell apart. She now lives with and is planning to marry a woman. Doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference to me. I’m very happy that she’s happy.
Take your own advice and allow me my own reaction.
You were wrong. Whether or not you intended it, you wrote the words that got noted. Perhaps being a tad more careful would be a better approach than arguing with those who disagree with you in this.
No you are wrong. I was noted for discussing Euphrosyne, which I did not do. Read the links.
As ITD already said, she misread Lucas Jackson’s post. And her note was to head off a hijack in any case. If you haven’t even read this thread, perhaps you shouldn’t comment on it. :dubious:

Actually, your only reason to be in this thread seems to be to snark on another poster, and not even justifiably. Unfortunately you have a propensity to do this in ATMB. I would strongly suggest you refrain from this behavior in the future. It’s rather jerkish.
Thanks Colibri. My purpose in this thread was to note that I was not part of that hijack. ITD already conceded that. For me the matter is closed - no harm no foul.
