A Coagulating MMP

Rebo, as dry as you’ve been there, I expect you may be stuck with brown vegetable matter… :frowning:

I had corned beef hash for dinner. It was extremely yum. We shall be making this a regular in our kitchen cabinet, yes.

It actually rained today! At my house! Not much but it was impressive while it lasted.

Why is it warm everywhere but California? It’s been 60s every morning and cloudy. It’s still overcast and windy now. What the heck?

Reubens be good. Reubens with beerverages be even better.

:dubious: I am NOT smashed, **Rebo. ** I’d like to be after the work day, I had, but I’m not! :stuck_out_tongue:

Temps are about 73 degrees, but it’s cloudy out, so it feels a little humid.

We’re having leftover Death Chicken for dinner.

Other than that, I don’t have much going on. Need to check the oil in my Expedition. It seems to be running a little roughly.

Yum swampy!

Steaks for supper with what ever veggies I can round up. Oh and corn! Which I need to go shuck? husk? take the green outer leaves off? Whatever.

I is hongry!

Yup. Been eatin’ fauxstrami reubens fer N. O. L. all week. No beerverages at work, though. :frowning:

Poke tenderloin was teh yum! And Crash N.O.T. was too. I made okra and tomatoes for the side dish, a Southern staple. Mr Rebo did not eat any, cuz he thinks okra is yukky. More for me!

Tomorrow is Firday, hallelujah!

They were refinishing (yes, they first restarted) the floor in the main community room, so the only other place big enough for all of us was the chapel upstairs - How cool is it when lightening flashes on the other side of a stained glass window?

(Of course - had this been May 21st, it probably would have been a little scary)

Mojo chicken boobs, steamed broccoli , and green sallit with strawberries for dinner tonight. Was good!

That’s all I got.

I’ve been wanting to donate marrow since I was in college, but for one reason or another have never been able to do it. But for the first time in 10 years, I do know that in August I’ll be home and have no engagements other than Not Killing Mom, so I should be able to go in for the tests - and the analysis I just got as part of a general health check were fine (a bit of cholesterol, but that doesn’t kick you off the donor register, like low hemo does).

Just wrote to my local blood bank asking whether I need to do something before coming to sign up for the register or just drop by during working hours. Maybe I can do it on July 4th: it’s a local holiday in the village where I work but not back home.

3 hours discontinuous sleep with a bit of minor surgery in between.

I’m tired.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ YAWN. 'Tis 73 Amurrkin out with yet another predicted high of around a hunnert. Yes, I am up early on a day off. As soon as it’s daylight enough I intend to start on da cave yahd. It looks awful and needs to be mowed and edged sump’n fierce. Then I shall go and do the same at OYKW’s place. After that I shall find out the problem with his wireless. I live it up on a day off do I not!

Feel better Soapy!

Now I need more caffiene and some brekkies. Must fuel up for yahd irk after all!

Happy Firday Y’all!

Meant to say  at both lieu and Bobbio earlier, but seem to have missed it.

Also about storms, LiLi and Soapy.

Am off to tour a bunch of garden-y places today, hoping not to be interrupted by calls from work.

I’m sure there’s more I forgot…

Hugs all.

GT

Happy Firday!!!

I set up the crock pot to make a pot of vegetable beef soup. And I made a “kit” of cornbread for Dad to bake with dinner. I don’t buy the box mix - I’ve been makin’ my cornbread from scratch since I was a wee Rebo.

I know it’s kinda hot for soup, but it’s easy, healthy, and cheap, and crockpottable. (Is too a word!) Most of all it’s good!

Today shall be a [del]goofing off[/del] training day, since I completed my assignment. At least until we have a design review next Tuesday.

Laterz!

Crockpottable is absotootinlutely a word.

What minor surgery?

We’re on Day Three of a Mr. Lissar-mostly-absent week, and I’m getting a bit cranky with the kids. Trying not to, and trying to remember that this is the New Normal. Gnat and I washed the ground floor after lunch. He’s very proud of himself.

I crockpotted some turkey I found in the freezer overnight, and just shredded it and strained the broth. We’ll have creamed turkey and veggies for dinner.
Gnat’s being entertained with videos and TomKitten’s asleep. When baby wakes up it’ll be snacktime and then some gardening and outside playing-in-mud.

My son had an ingrown toenail. Became very painful at 2 am. Foot soaking and minor surgery performed bleary- eyed, but successful.

Ooh, so sorry that I haven’t been around. I’m w/o internet at the time, don’t know when exactly I’ll have it back.

Due to a number of circumstances, some out of my control, I have in the past few weeks been hospitalized for shortness of breath/COPD, retired from my job, and moved to Albuquerque, NM.

I miss you all, and I can’t even skim - I have very little and limited time to get online right now. I -will- be back, though. I’m getting adjusted to the altitude here, thanks to all of you for thoughts and prayers.

I do so miss you all!!!

Good luck! That’s a lot of changes at once-- sounds exciting though!
