In reading a very long post in another forum here on this message board, I asked this question, but the thread is so long that it probably won’t get answered. I need a definition to the following question.
“Can any mod, admin, poster, or Ed Zotti himself, PLEASE define the word “jerk”, in a way that ** applies to every single person that has ANYTHING WHATSOEVER to do with this board,** whether they are a poster, mod or admin?”

I can see from the 2 or 3 answers in the pit that “don’t be a jerk” is a statement that can not be defined. It seems rather obvious that it depends on who you are.
Think about it. Why would we want to define it too strictly? That’ll only lead to debates about the definition, and it will limit the power of the rule to boot. Many laws and regulations are deliberately vague so that the Evil Fascist Bastards that enforce them can apply them if and when they see fit.
We’re no different.
