Thread moved from General Questions to About This Message Board.
You are not being “abused.” You are receiving instructions from a moderator. I will leave it to him to respond, but in the meantime, I strongly recommend you review the rules and guidelines of this message board.

good move.
a moderator here calls me a ‘jerk’ in american parlance about a comment made by me in a thread which was harmless.
this guy insulted me.
called me a jerk.
Would that “someone” just happen to be a moderator?
so its ok for mods to send pms calling members jerks?
who is out of line here?
Have you read The Registration Agreement?
As I said, Sentrix, read the registration agreement and the SDMB rules and guidelines. It’s pretty clear.
but of course a moderator.
‘it’ took umbrage to my usage of ‘the invisibile man in the sky’ comment.
‘it’ did not disclose in the process what was the issue.
i mean threats and all.
shaking in my peeptoes. is this mod like a really old dude out of touch with reality?
You are.
I’m going to take this at face value and define a jerk.
From the Urban Dictionary: jerk: An insensitive, selfish, ignorant, cocky person who is inconsiderate and does stupid things.
Your post in the original ‘eternal hellfire’ thread showed jerkish behavior and in my infraction PM I warned you of the first rule, ‘don’t be a jerk’. Please do not do so or your posting privileges will be revoked.
ok guys i read it.
i am SORRY. give a girl a break. sorry ok? i need to get up to speed.
Have you read the Registration Agreement and/or the rules for posting yet?
Here’s the post in question, in Great Debates.
Here’s Jonathan Chance’s warning.
sentrix, you joined only two weeks ago and already have over 100 posts. “Don’t be a jerk” is the most basic rule on this board. If you can’t figure out what’s jerkish and what’s not, I would strongly advise you to cut your posting back very drastically until you do figure it out. Read more than you post. The vast majority of our posters don’t have any trouble understanding or following this rule. If you can’t figure it out in the same way they have, I regret to say that your stay here is likely to be short.
but of course.
the password was difficult.
‘sorry, but your password must contain an upper case letter, a number, a punctuation mark, an extict animal and a hieroglyph’
ok colibri, i get it.
and i am sorry for the kerfukkle. i don’t get my american partner at times and he is the most wonderful.
A momentary change in acceleration.
Also, I use more f’s in “Kerfuffle.”
Since the OP seems to have had her question answered to her satisfaction, I’m going to close this.
