A Descriptive MMP

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today. I shall do a load of laundry. It’s raining off and on, no long walk for Gordie today.

Saw a doctor about my foot yesterday. She said both my calves are tight, and gave me some stretches to do, plus some cream.

Midget, hope the foot gets to feeling better.

doggio, I got the rain (w/hail and lots of lighting and thunder) last night, but looks like no rain for today (lots of clouds).

Butters, hope all goes well.

Need to mail a couple of bills and get some cash for April from the bank and also check on my high blood pressure prescription; need to get it refilled. Outside of that and the afternoon soccer practice, it should be another quiet day.

OMG, I almost peed myself reading this!

In the meantime, I’ll just wave at y’all. I haven’t really had any time to post this week . . . just busy with stuff, y’know.

Breather break - learned something new today after much frustration trying to figure it out on my own. Here’s hoping I remember it next time it comes up.

Meanwhile, I get to dive into the drawing from hell again. rah.

::Puts on wig & false eyelashes::
Hi there, I’m April.
Midget, buy a foam roller. mine cost $5 USD. That’s what; a suitcase full of CAD?
Since, when I go to the PT at lunch, I want to be able to say, “This morning I did”, rather than “Today I will” I went for a walk this morning; it was grey & the ground was wet but it was not precipitating. Before I got two houses away there was a BIG CRACK of thunder.
Don’t worry, it slowed/stopped just about the time I got home. :smack: The upper body was dry thanks to a good Columbia rain jacket, but I shoulda gone back inside, taken off my pants & replaced them with shorts & one of my pairs of rain bibs. Obviously, I didn’t drown, unlike my aunt, who was murdered by that bitch, Dorothy.

:dubious:

Who’s worried?

Who’s worried!

I always look on the bright side myself.

Back from lunch/company meeting. We did really well last year and we’re on target to do even better this year. So I figure I’ve got a job at least for one more year.

Just waiting for the drawing from hell to load so I can do some work.

Happy Toosday!

Still waiting for the drawing from hell to churn out its various incarnations. LOOOOOOOOONG afternoon.

Mooom that trick you wanted to remember? Start a file on your computer or gasp a paper list of useful tricks, and put it there. You might have to read through a few pages next time you have the nagging feeling that you know a trick, but hopefully you’ll have it noted down.

Technically I can make croaking noises today, so I guess I can talk. I need to get to the store, but I just feel like vegging with a book. May put off the store one more day. We’re out of almost everything, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.

My Swissie dog, Kona, is funny. He’s allowed to sleep on the bed when one of us isn’t home. We find that having a nice, big weight in the bed lets the stay at home person sleep better. The first night, he just won’t do it. He seems to think the other person might just be in another room or something, and waiting to stroll into the room. Other nights, he usually will, when invited.

Butters home the appraisal went well. Sounds like it the odds are in your favor.

Howdy Y’all! I have been incommunicado today for good reason. I did get the yahd irk done and the chikin sallit made but my sinuses have been achy all day. Ben and I went to bed at eleven-thirty this mornin’ and stayed there four and a half hours. We shall do the same thing not long from now. ICK! Stoopid sinuses!

Goldurnit! (We are teaching ‘Beamer old timey cussin’ so he won’t get in trouble at school. Teach said it was ok.)

My voice is still gone. If I try to talk, I can croak, but then my throat hurts and I start coughing up a storm. I am drinking hot liquids and feeling irritated as all get out. Fortunately the kiddos are old enough to not need minute by minute monitoring and young enough not to need minute by minute monitoring.

I got three paws of the little dog trimmed yesterday. She refused to consider the last one. Today she is walking funny because those claws are so much longer than her other three feet. I doubt that she considers that any sort of reason to let me finish, but I will… When the weather is good, she runs in circles outside or we take her for walks, but when it’s wet, she strongly prefers NOT to be outside a minute longer than necessary. I thought we were going to have to set up one of those little grass pads for her in the house, but she eventually deigned to use the yard for her business. She likes snow though. I’m guessing it holds her scent trail better (this is the little blind dog). She’s cute yet funny little thing.

I was going to finish all of that with, in sunny weather her claws don’t need as much trimming. :smack:

Just like when you get outta jail, I don’t need to go back to PT [del]until[/del] [del]when[/del] [del]if[/del] unless I get injured again.

Fingers are crossed, butters!

Good luck on the foot emily!

Mooooom, I do what sunny does with things that I have to doinfrequently enough to forget how in between times, but often enough that I need to know.

Yay for the [del]jailbreak[/del] end of PT spidey!

Supper’s over, the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, entryway, patio and walkway are swept. Once I get the supper dishes done, I’ll be designing a birthday card for a friend who is turning 50 this Friday. He’s a dancer, musician and all around great guy. I’ll be going to his birthday potluck and trying to decide what dish and alcoholic beverage to take too. He mentioned not to forget my autoharp for the inevitable jam session. I’m thinking of bringing the recently purchased alto clarinet as well (this bunch is a weird mixture of genres :stuck_out_tongue: ).

Spent a little more time at the clinic than I had planned to, they wanted to check my BP (it’s down) and have me talk to the Doc before doing a refill. At least this time I got 3 months supply instead of 1 month.

Mad at our local Parks & Rec., they waited until 4PM to decide if the fields were to be opened or not, each hour being warmer and drier than the preceeding, so of course…they closed the fields. I know it costs money when kids chew them up, but it’s 74F and sunny outside…c’mon man!

So had my usual 2Day Mac-n-Cheese and am in chill mode.

And with luck this link will work

Seeing the cloud of dust from the “landing” (well ---- all three did survive) makes me realize why Dad said they hit the soft spot of China.
