I arrived in the office to a pile of drawings on my desk and a note from Josh saying they were high priority. The last line read: “I know you’re busy, so here is a bribe - 2 diet cokes” and he put 2 quarters on the note.
Yes, our canned sodas are a quarter each.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69! <snerk> Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 81 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. We’re promised lows in the 50s and highs in the mid to upper 70s (could creep up to low 80s) over the next few days, so yay! No biggie plans today. I shall do cave spiffin’ a little later this week as we have company comin’ on Sattidy so I want the place to look nice then. Tonight is men’s night over to the church house, thus steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’.
Butters so sorry you had a sleepless night. I feel kinda guilty since I drifted off around ten last night, woke up around four to pee and then the next thing I knew it was eight-fifteen. Enjoyed that though.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then I shall purtify and decide what the day shall bring.

Vorlon (don’t remember you MMP name), my brother used to send his Golden retreiver (long departed to doggie heaven) in to get me up. Hard to ignore a 70-lb dog in the bed.

Saturday it rained for 18 hours, dropping 4 inches. Where was this 2 months ago? Sunday was cold with 30 MPH winds. Today is sunny, still, and 45 degrees when I got up. My kind of weather. Irk is boring. I’m all caught up.
So I took the day off. I have been trying to freeze my credit with the big three since Equifax was hacked. Had no problem with Experian except having to pay $10. Equifax had a error and could not complete**** the request and Transunion will not even load on my tablet. I shall try again at irk tomorrow on my laptop.
My irk computer is dead and will forever be dead until they either hard wire us or put in a hotspot or air card. Our phones are still out as well. We have no customers and even if we did I don’t deal with customers and since we had a shitty month last month, being open only three days,I have no work to do anyway. Mmmmooooommmm Our Fall Fest was canceled due to Irma so it shall be a year before we can use pumpkin hair. I am sad about that. It is one little bright spot usually.

Metal Mouse my mom used to send in our retriever on the same logic. She was 70 lbs of hyperactive love. I may try it with Pepper on my daughter in about 2 minutes. 
Some dog threw up several times last night (pretty sure it was Kona), and I slept through it. I guess I was tired, since I usually don’t sleep through this kind of thing. Now I have dried up messes to clean out of my carpet. I think travel doesn’t agree with Kona. Poor guy.

**Butters **- I was wondering if your Fall Fest would happen. Bummer - I would think it would be just what everyone needs, but I guess in the grand scheme of things, there are other more important things to deal with. Luckily, the wigs aren’t perishable!
Lunch break, and I need it. I’m almost done with the priority drawings. I’ve got some that Tim needs tomorrow - hope I can get to them, but he’s not here and until he answers a couple of questions, I can’t finish his work.

Had to run an early errand, coming home I nearly hit a HERD of deer! Karma is truly a evil woman, Mr. Wrekker has never failed in getting his bag limit, in the 35 years I have known him. I think deer spirits are out to get me! Got volunteer work this afternoon, at least we are in a little cool spell! Got the lil’wrekker s sweaters out of storage, gotta take them to cleaners soon, I swear had them cleaned before storage, they oddly smell like a Christmas tree (hmmm)! She will be in for the weekend. We are gonna tackle her closet s( yes plural ). Girl could clothe a small village. She has a hoarder side. Inherited, no doubt, from me! I have systematically emptied dresser drawers in her room since she left for school. She hasn’t noticed yet. I swear I found Disney princess panties. She hasn’t worn them since 3rd grade! Please don’t think my housekeeping skills are lax, don’t judge me. Now I gotta discuss the stuffed animal sitch with her, she ain’t gonna like it. AND the BIG news, she tells me she has met a boy she really,really likes. I am not allowed to ask too many questions, yet! I will report when I know more! Y’all be happy today!
I have been at war with my printer for a couple of weeks. I finally got the dang thing to work right and today two things I needed to print happened on the first try! It’s a miracle! Build a shrine!
In other news the a/c is actin’ up so I have a call in to the a/c folks. Also ‘tis attemptin’ to rain. Yay for that!
I was awake to 0300 the day before and to 0200 today/this morning. Charge of weather is playing hell with some of my muscles and joints and change of season is always bad for my sinuses. Plus the new work schedule allowing me to think about and do more around the old homestead sometimes the zzzzzzs are a little slow coming.
Sinuses were part of what woke me this morning too.
Why does it do that? We have more pressure changes riding a skyscraper elevator, and it is 98.6 (or is it 96.8?) inside us unless we are very sick.
Blurf.
Yep, it’s 6pm here, but I still has blurf. I didn’t sleep last night either, possibly due to over caffeinating yesterday. My caffeine tolerance is dropping like a rock, for some reason. The blurf was not helped by waking up to an apocalyptic yellow sky, apparently caused by bits of Sahara flyin’ around.
Was gonna go to shiny new juggling club today, but, in light of the blurf, plus the fact that it started 15 minutes ago and it’s almost an hour’s drive away, I ain’t going. It’s on Wednesday as well this week, and that’s a much shorter and low brain requirement skool day, so I’ll go then.
Is it too early for bed?
After Saturday’s [del]19[/del] 21 hour day I wasn’t able to do much of anything yesterday other than the minimums & recover. I was long asleep when the phone rang at 1am. I answered it by the second (customized) ring with a slightly panicked , “What’s wrong?” to get a, “thought you’d be up, just wanted to tell you the latest.” Of course, I had been asleep long enough that one doesn’t just drop off again.

The grocery sto had trout. A little butter, a little salt, a (not-so) little pepper. Lunch was Mmmmmm. 
I got a call back from the a/c folks. She has alerted the guy out workin’ in this area. I guess when he is able he will call and say he’s on his way. On the bright side, the rain caused the outside temp to cool off and I have da cave windows opened and fans runnin’ so it’s not too bad in here. Roast beast in the slow cooker with carrots, green beans, rice 'n gravy and rolls shall be suppage.
