I rarely sleep well and am tired most every day. However, I cannot, for the life of me ever sleep in. Friday was my RDO, yet I was up and wide awake at 0430 hours in the damn morning.
Saturday, I woke up at 0445, but didn’t roll out of bed until 0500. Sunday, I “slept in” until 0645.
Today, when I had to get up for work, I did not want to get up. :smack: But, being a good government minion, I rolled out of bed at 0510 and got ready for work.
We’re supposed to get some blustery rainy weather the next couple of days. While I welcome the rain, we could do without the wind.
Welp, lunch is over, and I must get back to analyzing something.
Regarding pressure changes, I don’t know why they cause all the aches and pains that they do, but they do. They are hell on my migraines, and I feel them in my formerly-broken ankle.
alien, I’ve been awakened at 0520 almost every morning for the last 2 1/2 months by a wet willie from a puppy who needs to go outside.

I irked a half day today, then went to the dentist for my 6 month checkup. I have to return next Tuesday for a small filling. Came home, walked the dog, vaccuumed and have a load of laundry in the dryer.
swampy, I thought of you at supper. I dropped a roasted brussels sprout and Nelson promptly ate it. I have a feeling he may have a bit of gas this evening.
The a/c guy got here around five and had the problem resolved fifteen minutes later. Some bad wirin’ on the compressor. He replaced the wires and everything works. YAY! Supperation was good and there was enough to fix OYKW a N.O.L. for tomorrow.
Pepper went to the dog park and met up with her bestest friend. I will try to take pics next time. They are hilarious together. Both puppies who love to run and run and run.
I am back and crawling into bed. Supper tonight shall be leftovers. So mote it be.
I was in bed asleep at 11:30 last night and slept until one of the dogs woke me at 5:00.
Took them out and was back in bed by 5:30. Slept off and on til after 7:00 when I had to get up to drive Wifey and two of her coworkers to the airport. Fitbit says I slept about 6 anna half hours altogether. A good night for me.
Supper tonight was leftovers. Supper tomorrow night may well be leftovers, too. Wednesday may be a lonely salmon filet I found in the freezer, or else minestrone.
Finally met my new cardiologist today. (my old one died). Seems like a nice young feller.
Says my heart is doing fine. Changed one of my meds 'cause my arteries are clogging up a little. I hate it when that happens.
I cooked a pork loin to death yeasterday so made pulled poke today which was yummy. We waste too much food. The power was out again and back on and out again long enough for me to get hot so I had hubby run the generator. I don’t do hot very well. I guess I shall drag into irk tomorrow. Le Sigh.
The bugs, specifically no see ums, are the worst I have ever seen them. Neighbor says it because of all the junk piles. The flying teeth usually only bite at dusk and dawn but are 24/7 now. Bastids.
I have taken a sleep tablet so I may sleep through the night. I did not nap today either. Must have sleep.
I think its more the temp and dampness differences but I don’t know for sure. All I do know is that spring sometimes and every fall I keep the horse liniment handy.
On another note – Spidey – I believe this weekend is Morgantown’s zombie walk but I am not sure at this point if I am going to be free or not.
Apparently I can’t fall asleep with cold feet. I tossed and turned and drifted in and out of dozage till 11:30, when I finally put some socks on. Then I zonked out till 4:50. Lesson learned, but it’s gonna be a long day…
There’s a gnat-like thing flitting around my desk and I’m not quick enough to smoosh it, dammit! I got one yesterday, but so far today, not so lucky. Stoopit bug.
We shall see if I work longer than 8 hrs today - I’ve got stuff I need to get done before I go and I may need to stay late. If I can manage it.
Good Mornin’ y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 58 Ammurkin out and clear with a predicted high of 77and mostly N.O.S. for the day. I shall open up the cave windows later this mornin’ to let some fresh air in. I do love me some fresh air. Today is laundry day and I have an appointment with the doc at 2:30 p.m. We shall go grab some comestibles at some point after that. I may be there a couple of hours.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I suppose I should purtify and start laundry. Rah.
I’m worried. A friend I care very much about seems to have disappeared. I imagine he’s still around, but don’t really know. He seems to not be in my band at the moment, and his Facebook profile is gone.
Afternoon, mumpers! I have been a bit absent for the last few weeks - the start of term here has been absolutely manic, but things are calming down a bit more now so I might actually have time to sit and read some stuff here.

How is it possible waking up both with a bladder that’s about to bust & with a tongue that feels like it’s been licking the beach? The tongue says dehydrated & the bladder says overhydrated.
It’s in the @#$%& 30°s out there this morning. :mad:
I wanted to get out for a bit, but the lowest low has been upper 50’s & I couldn’t face needing hat & gloves yet. I hates Fall!
