Ursula LeGuin fans, rejoice, or cringe in anticipation?
One thing’s for sure–time to dig out the novel for a reread before it airs in September.

It came out on DVD about a year ago. The movie version really isn’t all that great.
Heretic! Considering how and when it was made, its a darn good flick!
Unless it’s been redone recently, the production is not new at all. I saw it years ago, long enough that it’s not clear HOW long. My guess, 5-10 years.
yojimboguy: It has been redone recently. The new version stars Lukas Haas (the little sprout from Witness, except he ain’t so little anymore), and James Caan.
I haven’t read the book, and I’ve only seen bits and pieces of the 1980 version, but I have read two other novels by Le Guin, and I liked them. I’ll give Lathe of Heaven a try.
I’m surprised that the TV and movie worlds haven’t touched the Earthsea books yet.
I was wondering where it went - originally, it was supposed to air on A&E back in April - guess they had production delays.
It’ll be interesting to see what Lukas Haas does with George’s character.
I assume James Caan is playing Dr. Haber?
