Chadwick, is that you? (yes, that’s his real name)
Nah, I’m certain that most normal human beings aren’t capable of THAT much drama. We split because he wasn’t sure if he wanted to get married or become a Buddhist Monk. :smack:

Right back atcha! <EG>
Good night!
If I had a name like that, I’d be bitter, too… :dubious:
Isn’t that supposed to happen sequentially? (that is, *first *you marry; after a while you want to become a Buddhist Monk… )
I don’t know you well enough? OK, I’m willing to get to know you better…
Not if you’re married to me, sweetie…
Alright, I’m going back to bed. It’s too early for me to be awake, especially with all that I have to do today.
See you in a couple of hours.
I am?
[Jay Leno]I did not know that![/JL]
Neither did I!!
Wow, this is big news! Congratulations!!
::throwing rice and confetti::
Wait a minute. That is NOT what I said. I’m just saying hypothetically if a person, any person, was married to me that they would never have the desire to become a Buddhist Monk.
I mean, come on, I’m the total package! I’m intelligent, I cook, I’m good at, um, other things… :o What’s not to love?
Yes, I know I went back to bed, but now my back is hurting and I feel kind of pukey. So I got back up again.
And it’s a good thing, too. So that I could clarify my position. ::quickly sweeps confetti and rice under the rug::
58… 59… 60
So, since I’ve never had the desire to become a Buddhist Monk, that must mean I’m married to you! QED.
I don’t know yet. I suppose I’ll have to… delve deeper in order to find out…
[Serious]Sorry to hear that Hope you can get back to bed and get some sleep[/serious]
That’s how you clean the house, woman!?
Wha? Oh, never mind. :smack:
On second thought, maybe this is like** Li-Li**. Are you my Internet Lunchtime Husband?*
Nah. I’m with rigs, I want a maid.**
*Sounds naughty, doesn’t it???
**Total package does not include house-cleaning. I mean, come on, the man has to do something.
Heh, I was just thinking about incorporating a LiLi/Husband reference.
Great minds etc… and so do we :o
And together you’ll be a threesome? Sounds naughty, doesn’t it???
Echo… echo… echo…
I Like!
Yeah, I know, void where prohibited and all that. I knew I should have read the fine print :o :smack:
Well, sure… I won’t leave you to do all the “work” yourself
::drags back out confetti and rice:: Hooray! My first Husband. **Li-Li ** will be so proud to see that I’ve started my collection. I wonder if **Mr. Lisslar ** has a collection of Wives.
:smack:
I’ve never been part of a threesome. Sounds interesting… Just so long as the maid doesn’t bring her dirty feather duster.*
Awww, so sweet.
*I’m allergic to dust. What were YOU thinking???
Well, apparently now I do…
That sounds… dirty
Yup, that’s the MMP… too sweet and cloying, as usual…
Yeah, I’d better ease up on you a bit here. Otherwise you’ll be all worn out and won’t have any of your self-described ‘friskiness’ left for the other female MMPers. And that might start an uprising.
You seem to be quite sure of yourself
That sounds… interesting
(serious)ETA: I guess you’re not going to manage to get any more sleep tonight, are you? Hope you feel better later!
Gah. I knew you’d comment about this.
Nah. Probably not. I was thinking about going to work now. But it’s cold outside and I’m all warm and snuggly here on the couch.
What is it there? Almost, but not quite, 5 AM? Can’t you nod off for a while, even right there on the couch, and get up around 7-7:30? You’ll be dead tired otherwise…
If not, I’ll try to be around so that you don’t get bored out of your skull at least.
Looks like Cutie Pie might have fallen asleep after all… And yes, it was about 5:00 when you were writing that.
I was awake extra early again. Tried to fall asleep again, but it didn’t work out. So I’m up and getting ready for work.
Look, it’s kai! Hope you feel better soon.
And Dotty, too! Hope your sister really enjoys her stay with you (I’m sure she will)!
Sorry about the school troubles, Spaz. Do you have an adviser you can talk to or is everyone gone until January? You might have a more relaxing break if you talk to him or her this week. Also, you should definitely complain about your instructor. Good luck with everything!
Well…off to finish getting ready for work.
GT
Good night Noice! They’re at it again!!!
I’m not sure but I think Roo, CutiePie and Special1 were talkin’ dirty. :dubious:
Rebo ask and ye shall receive. These are Cheese Crisps rather than Cheese Straws. For Cheese Straws you need a cookie press with the star tip and well, it’s just a whole lot of trouble. Crisps are easier.
Cheese Crisps
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (extra sharp is best)
2 sticks butter (or, if you must, margarine, but buttah’s bettah!)
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups crispy rice cereal (note the ingenious way I don’t say a name brand)
salt and cayenne pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Allow cheese and butter to soften. Grate cheese and combine with butter, salt and cayenne pepper. Add flour one cup at a time. Mix in the crispy rice (ingenious, I say!) cereal. Pinch off little bits of dough and roll into itty bitty <snerk> balls <snerk>. Press down on the little <snerk> balls <snerk> with a fork dipped in flour. Bake about 12 minutes or until golden. Might wanna check after 10 minutes. Makes a bunch, dependin’ on how small you make 'em. I can get about 9 dozen out of a batch cause I like 'em small.
You might wanna flour your hands if you are of the type to mix the cheese, butter and spices by hand, the way I do it.
It usually takes me about an hour to make a batch.
Thus endeth today’s cooking lesson
Yes, I did take a nap. Hooray. Otherwise I’d be in a pretty ugly place by this afternoon.
I had the craziest dream… We had a MMPfest of sorts. Except it was one of those dreams where you substitute random people for other people. For instance, the only person that I knew was VBob. But we all had fun anyways. Oh, and at some point I was riding around in **FCM’s ** car with her. Also an old friend of mine was there and we were trying to explain to her how we knew each other. She thought we were a bunch of loons. Well, I guess she wasn’t too far off, was she?
