Tonight in the valet pit, a taxicab caught fireand scorched the ceiling.
This shut down valet operations for about an hour, until we moves all traffic through to the other side of the street (the boardwalk side handles Casino traffic, while the Pacific Ave. side does Hotel patrons).
That side of the pit will be closed down for days while they powerwash and repaint.
BTW, I’m the one who called security and the Fire dept.
