You don’t say! In between your Rules XXVII(d)(ii) and XXIX(e)(iii) I invoke (or invocate, to cover for the ghost of, just in case) the only in a strict mathematical sense slightly irrational but also transcendental Rule XXVIII(π2)e, which when playing Kew Gardens (District and London Overground) superse(e)ds both and gives me the square of the natural logarithm of both your tokens as a very nice bonus indeed.
Even irrational transcendentalists cannot deny Rule XXVIII(√-1)e takes us into imaginary territory, and as banal as it may seem, my next stop is clearly Platform 9-3/4

I didn’t réalise there was a match going on.
Having skimmed the Coronation replay on YouTube, I note that there is a new Canadian heraldic crown and flag for the Sovereign, and therefore I can follow in my esteemed Grandfather’s footsteps from seventy years ago at the last Coronation, and invoke the Princes’ Modification of 1937 to play… Monument.
We seem to be back in calmer waters, but I still feel well out of my depth. 3 or 4 obvious plays present themselves, but I’ll do none of those and instead grab a terminus with Upminster, even though I now have to wait there for at least 3 turns.
I believe I see why you chose to go with Upminster as opposed to the better access offered by both Finsbury Park or Embankment. Let me just say Metternich…Warsaw…1977… Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me. I’m only too happy to watch you strive to succeed in the endeavor. Oh, and since I must make a move of some sort I suppose I could nip off to West Ham.
Sunspace, was your grandfather at the 1953 Greater Ontario Coronation Open? Oh, the tales he must have told you. I am green with envy. Did he witness Sir Rodney Parsloe-Parsloe’s incredible bluff during the ride down the Hammersmith & City Line?
Speaking of bluffs, I’m going to see Cardigan’s and move down to:
Blackfriars
Ok, if you want to play it that way …
King’s Cross & St. Pancras.
My next move will be shouted to the crowds from a chair in Hyde Park Corner. Nearing the interesting part, I feel.
Botheration, I’ve missed my path - stuck here for another couple of turns while I wait for the signals to change.
That is not what I meant with “interesting part”. But do keep on
Did you all catch the match at Faffington on Tyme this weekend? Worcester really wowed the crowd during a signal pause like we have here.
Now observe closely:
Bounds Green
That, sirs, is how it’s done.
Oh, yes, that was a sight to behold! That is more like it. Now: Battersea Power Station. In an orange hue for you, if you like.
Yes, discourse, I want to post that link again. For reasons.
I’m sorry - I din’t think you can play Battersea Power Station after the preceding-but-one player has entered a cross-diagonal.
I’d like a ruling please.
The New International Revised Rules Amended Section LXI(B)(6)(iii) 2022 Edition explicitly states: “players may enter Battersea Power Station after the preceding-but-one player has entered a cross-diagonal.” Clearly, the rules makers anticipated such a move.
Which leaves me open to attempt a reverse-oblique flanking move to Richmond
Thanks for the clarification, which is particularly noteworthy as the “preceding-but-one player” was me too! Wise rules indeed, and if I may hint to it myself, smugly played!
And now, relying on the well proven tactic of combining countries with gardens I will stroll through Island Gardens.
Interesting - we’re moving back to The RIver.
Let’s see - Riverside service to Vauxhall. Transfer at Stockwell.
I’ve got it!
South Wimbledon
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine: Langdon Park. Just like that.
Well that’s interesting… this game is remarkably similar to the one between
the London Heathrow Biddlers team and the Truro Harbingers team in the
second round of the British Open in 1977. It was one of only 7 games ever to
have ended in a tie.
And i don’t want a tie, so …
Perivale
Oh my. Unless I’m missing something, that’s MC in five. I can’t block, but perhaps can vector things towards others with more tokens available. Let’s move to White City and hope folks have the good sense to prevent Oxford Circus from coming into play.
Ah - you’ve activated my trap card.
Oxford Circus
