Oh, probably far more than that; probably closer to 100%. It’s not really practical to grow up in a racist society and not absorb some of it, even if just unconsciously.
And since this is an obvious reference to the recent vote, the word you are looking for is xenophobia, not* just* racism.
There are other factors besides racism, though that’s definitely a part of it. And it’s not like all the “remain” people are free of racism.

I don’t agree with Stringbean’s post, but this is just silly. You can’t disprove racism by saying no one votes for the explicitly racist party. Racism occurs in different degrees.
All Der Trihs is pointing out is that, if you call the Leavers racist, you pretty much have to call everyone racist. Yeah, maybe a little unconscious racism affected their decision, but that happens to everyone.
In other words, he’s on your side.
