I’ve done one of these before and probably so have others but it’s been years and I don’t feel like googling it and there’s new material now, so rather than give the rules I’ll just give some examples. MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF
-I LOVE LUCY was the one where Lucy tries to get Ricky to put her in the act and when he doesn’t she and Ethel come up with a wacky scheme.
-BURN NOTICE was the one where somebody convinces Michael to help somebody but it turns out to be way more complicated than he thought and so he has to cook up an elaborate scheme that involves talking in an accent and Fi blowing something up. THREE’S COMPANY was the one where there’s a big mix up and two of the roommates and the landlord think the third roommate is talking about sex but it’s really something innocent and Jack trips over something.
My favorite episode of WEST WING was the one where the administration was blocked from instituting policies they wanted to and everyone spoke fast-paced and wittily.
My favorite episode of 24 was the one that had just about EVERYTHING happening in just one hour.
Oh, and my favorite episode of HOUSE MD was that one where, one time, Doctors Chase, Foreman, and Cameron didn’t know what was wrong, so the patient almost died. Thankfully House figured out the mystery at the end though.
My favorite episode of LOST was the one where a bunch of unexplainable mysterious shit happened, Sawyer was a dick, and then Hurley cracked a joke. Oh, and also the one where Kate was a bitch. God, that episode was great.
My favourite episode of LOST is the one where they answer a question from a few seasons back by introducing about 15 more unresolved questions, although it isn’t that great an episode, as I believe that’s also the one that sweeps away some old unsolved mysteries without answering them.
My favorite episode of Perry Mason was when his client was charged with murder, and the case looked lost until about five minutes before the end Mason would interrogate someone on the witness stand who would break down and confess.
My favorite episode of Arrested Development was the one with the incest jokes.
My favorite episode of Arrested Developmeny was the one where they made an allusion to a reference to a callback to a joke from a previous season. And Gob does a chicken dance.
My favorite episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the one where Dawn’s in trouble and Buffy has to rescue her (must be Tuesday).
My favorite episode of Futurama was the one where the Professor has great news for everybody, but it actually turns out to be a horribly dangerous mission.
My favorite episode of Fringe was the one that starts with a crazy random happenstance that turns out to be caused by two universes colliding.
My favorite episode of Cold Case was the one where someone in the past was having an affair and addicted to drugs.
My favorite episode of Leverage was the one where Hardison annoys Elliot, Sophie does an accent, Parker says something weird, Nate gets drunk, and all the stuff that goes wrong is all part of the plan.
My favorite episode of LAW & ORDER was the one where Lenny made that smart-assed remark at the crime scene - I wish I could see it again. Oh, and there was the episode where everybody was working late at night at the DA’s office - our public officials are so dedicated, it makes me tear up.
My favorite episode of the Simpsons is when Homer does something stupid, Bart played pranks, and Lisa was the voice of reason. You know – the one with the celebrity guest voices.
My favorite episode of CSI was when there was an incredibly complex mystery involving kinky sex that was solved by the use of science. That was also my favorite episode of CSI: Miami and CSI: New York.
My favorite episode of Numb3rs is when Charlie came up with a mathematical principle that was perfect for solving the crime.
My favorite episode of Ghost Hunters was when there were a bunch of mysterious events in the house they were visiting.
My favorite episode Scooby Doo was when the bad guys would have gotten away with it, if not for those meddling kids.
