A Great Big, Beautiful MMP!

No rigs, he’s very angry at me, not the situation. He feels both Mr. Taters and I showed poor jdugement in not checking when the bank closed. Maybe we did, I don’t know.

I rarely complete transactions inside the bank; I usually use the ATM. Our paychecks are direct deposit, blank checks are sent in the mail, so you see, I guess I should have checked. Sigh…I hate disappointing my kids.

We’ll have the situation resolved tomorrow, and when I pick him up from work, I’ll pick him up in his car so that he’ll get to drive it home.

He was so angry he posted about it on FB and deleted my comment trying to explain the situation. Teenagers…sometimes you gotta wonder.

Hope all the meds help poor Bernie, FCM.

No. If it were that important that you get to the bank on time, maybe he could have called to check himself. I mean, really, why would you have expected the banks’ hours to change? You’re not a mind reader.

I bet it’s more crushing disappointment with you guys as easy targets. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Will it matter in a week? No–he just had a different set of expectations. And he will be able to drive it tomorrow. I mean it’s not like you came to him once his suitcases were packed and said, btw, you can’t go to college–we didn’t allocate money for it…

Ok, weird analogy, but that actually did happen to a friend of my daughter’s. Her parents let her apply, get accepted and start planning etc, then dropped their bomb. She was enraged.

Not to say that your son shouldn’t be angry etc, but it’s a small thing, really. (I have also found that attempting to use their FB page to clarify only backfires. Their parent’s posting on there seems to make them lose face with their peers. Whatever).

As a family therapist, I make a good librarian.

Doggio-but do nurses like you? :dubious: :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah - but Will Smith, cone on! what a hunk!

Caterers do!:D;)

Eh, he’s cute in his own way, but NOT as James West (maybe I have a thing for men named Jim?).

My mom likes me, I’m still waiting to hear from you and PICU.:stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah - I had a crush on Kirk, but I really have a thing for Shatner as he is now. I adored him on Boston Legal

what?

I completely agree.

I’m not incredibly anxious about Grandma or anything, I’m just a bit concerned. She’d gotten back from going out to lunch with a friend, so she isn’t doing all that badly. She just sounded kinda…wiped. To think I thought she was old when I was a kid!

{{{{{FCM and Bernie}}}}} Bernie’s such a sweetie. Poor pup, fleas are no fun at all. Luckily I haven’t had to deal with them in a long time. My kitteh hasn’t picked up any and I don’t have her on any of the preventatives; I won’t put her on that stuff if she doesn’t need it. knocking on wood furiously, which is not difficult in a log cabin

I’m glad I’m not the only one who is interested in the good doctor, even if that does mean I have to fight for him.

{{{{{taters}}}}}

I have a secret crush on Pie, but don’t tell her.

why not? :stuck_out_tongue:

Nah, he’s angry that you’re not an absolutely perfect and prescient mind reader. Maybe he should think about what his life had been like if his mother was a prescient mind reader… the horror!

So, he evidently still hasn’t learned that other people aren’t prescient mindreaders. Has he figured it out about himself? Does he expect everybody to be prescient telepaths, or only his parental units?

chill pill for the Li’l Tater

The lergy is still present in the ems household…however I am dressed and out of my jammies which I am viewing as progress even if it is sweat pants and a T-shirt.

TaterTot really not showing he is mature enough to handle a car…sorry I don’t normally comment on things like this but come on…the world doesn’t revolve around him.

I think I am hungry…but I am really not sure…

blurf

Well, I’m glad that it’s Wednesday because I get to head to TVLand later today. However… WHAT DO YOU MEAN, IT’S ONLY WEDNESDAY???:eek:

Blurf. I successfully foraged on the drive to work.

Y’all can have the lot of them, they don’t do anything for me.

Yeoman Rand, OTOH… I’ll be in my bunk.

Taters, something is seriously whacked in Spudville. He’s a teen, you are getting him a car that he’s not paying (much?) for out of his pocket, and he has his panties in a wad because you didn’t get to the bank in time to withdraw the $$$$ to pay for it?

You need to tell Mr. Entitled TaterTot that he has about 30 seconds to get his nose back into joint or he’ll walk another year. The car may be his to drive, but you and hubby own it legally.

Hey folks- Yikes about the car Taters. He’s mad and you’re the easy target. Don’t let him take it out on you too much, though. Everyone (I bet him, too!) makes mistakes and we shouldn’t beat each other up too much over them.

My boy is home sick today. Poor pumpkin- he’s fluish but no fever. He never gets a fever. Not a cold though…

Off to shower!

Funny, he doesn’t look fluish . .

Hah!

Up, off to work.
