A great year for Sci-Fi movie fans

I was just thinking about how many sci-fi movies we are getting this year, and it is absolutely stunning!!!
Normally we would have years without a big-budget sci-fi movie and now we get them by the boat-load :

A Scanner Darkly
Star Wars III
Serenity (Firefly the Movie)
A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
War of the Worlds

If you include superhero-movies we also are going to get
Batman the Beginning
Fantastic Four
Sin City

For the first time in years I am actually looking forward to a lot of movies being released.
Did I miss anything in my list?

I’m sure The Brothers Grimm by Terry Gilliam will be surreal and fantastic (in the “fantasy” sense).

I’m skeptical. As a lover of good SF, I’ve been disappointed far too often. 1982 was a food year for sf, giving us:

And, arguably Conan the Barbarian and Atomic Cafe. I’ll even forgive them ** E.T. – The Extraterrestrial**.

1986 was a good year, giving us

It’s about time for another good year.
