Now, the story lists a whole bunch of names, but frankly, I’ve never heard of any of them. There were no “big name” heroines such as Wonder Woman or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Admittedly, those are fictional heroines, and I confess I can’t think of any real-life counterparts that would deserve this much press. Much of the article seems to discuss some drug, anyway, rather than focusing on the disturbing idea that heroines can be bought and sold.
We must stand up and protect our nation’s heroines, after they’ve done so much for us! Who’s with me?
