A heroine trafficking operation!

Reported here.

Now, the story lists a whole bunch of names, but frankly, I’ve never heard of any of them. There were no “big name” heroines such as Wonder Woman or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Admittedly, those are fictional heroines, and I confess I can’t think of any real-life counterparts that would deserve this much press. Much of the article seems to discuss some drug, anyway, rather than focusing on the disturbing idea that heroines can be bought and sold.

We must stand up and protect our nation’s heroines, after they’ve done so much for us! Who’s with me?

Yes, I’ll get around to being outraged right after purchasing Nancy Botwin and Felicia Day.

I think Nancy is an anti-heroine. Besides, it’s Nancy Newman now. “The Newmans will succeed where the Botwins have failed.”

So you’re saying she’s just a buzzkill? That seems rather harsh.

/ducks, runs

OMG shut up. I don’t have cable so I won’t see the current season until it’s out on DVD. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t know about the heroines, but one of the people arrested was a real Outlaw!
