In which forum should I post a history question? Since I’m not sharing anything, i didn’t think it would be MPSIMS or IMHO. Would it be Cafe Society? Thanks 
If it’s a history question with a factual answer, there’s no reason it can’t make a home in GQ.

OTOH, a history question like “Who was the better general, Napoleon or Julius Caesar?” probably belongs in Great Debates. While “Who was the best general in history, d’you think?” belongs in IMHO. And “What the fuck was Brutus thinking of?” is probably for the Pit. Unless you meant Shakespeare’s Brutus, in which case it’s for Cafe Society.
Always a clear answer to a fuzzy question.
