Me wanna blankie. I cannot stand stuff on my feet–I used to have to have socks on all the time, but now, not so much. I even sleep with them outside the covers. Go figure. The double layer of polar fleece warmed me up.
I am done with my homework and will now rest on my laurels, such as they are.

Night shift is on in a couple of minutes. Mr. Lissar is off to bed, and Nat and I will hang out together, admiring the snow. Or cursing it.
One of my Mum’s friends got Nat a fleece hat with bunny ears. It has great picture-to-show-girlfriends-in-sixteen-years potential. It’s awesomely cute.

Oh, and ETA, I weighed myself this morning, and I weigh 1.5 lbs more than I did at eight weeks pregnant, which was the first time I weighed myself in a couple of years. I feel smug. Not that I’ve done anything to feel smug about, really.

I kept Jim up way too late today, we went to the mall so he could pick up my newly soldered ring. Now I’m thinking it might have to be a half size bigger, it’s been hard to get over my knuckle since I got it, but when I had to take it off when we dropped it off I had to use lotion, and today it took a lot of twisting and turning to get it back on. I’ll see how I feel about it in a few weeks. It’s not like I’m taking it off much anyhow.
Then I drug him off to the furniture store. I think he was too out of it to make a decision on anything just yet. But he’s aware of what I want. There’s no stopping me now.
I went to Bath and Body Works. Got more lotion. Like I need more lotion. But this stuff is so silky! (Like the other 20 tubes I own aren’t?) And bought some anti-bac. soap. I’m a sucker.
Had some delish bourbon chicken and some other kind from the food court in the mall. I loved the egg roll. Bought some more for later. Yum!

Ah, home…fed…medicated…and off work tomorrow. All is well with the world. I caught up with some friends via IM tonight, my friends at work are REALLY jealous of my Valentine’s cards, (yes I gave you all my work address so I could flaunt them and gloat!), and I have a doggie curled up next to me. All is well with the world. I have food in the fridge, a few dollars in the bank account, and I’ve got my mattress pad cranked up to high so I will climb into a warm bed tonight. All is well with the world. I’ve got a full DVR, a movie to watch, and a friend coming over tomorrow to watch American Idol with me. All is well with the world. The dog just farted. The world stinks.

The weather is atrocious; right now, it’s the temp is at freezing, so tomorrow morning it will definitely be treacherous. Will have to see what it is like outside before I attempt to go in to work. There have been tons of accidents in the DC metro area, though, including a 19 car pile-up in Germantown (upper Montgomery co.). GAH!

kaiwik, we have to drive to Sequim, pick up hubby’s elderly parents’ new handicapped van, drive it to Woodinville to have something installed, drive it back to Sequim, pick up their old car, and our car, bring them both back to our house. In all, it adds up to about 500 miles in two days. I can hardly wait. We decided to go next Monday, since Hubby has the whole week off.
We’re going to sell their old car, here, but, we’ll have to get the handicap licence plates transferred back to them. I’m responsible for finding out how to do that.
