Haze red shoes only work in Oz. However, the same shoes in black are nice. I have spoken. What? Remember I’m gay so whatever I say fashion and decoratin’ wise goes without question. So There!
Howdy Y’all! Just snuck in for another quick read through. Gotta get back to the grind soon.
I cancelled my Sears card today. I’ve had that thing for 20 years (!) and I have vowed never to use credit cards again.
They transferred me to an account specialist, who praised me on my good handling of the card, and what did Sears possibly do to offend me that I would want to stop using their card! Surely I’d want to keep it for emergencies! I figured I’d get some pressure to change my mind, but when I said the magic words “I do not plan to use credit cards again” I guess she was defeated. The account is closed.
I haven’t used it in over a year, so no biggie. HA!
It a yearly thing (fund-raiser?) that Boo-Fae hits up every year. She’s talked about it before, but I’ll be hornswaggled if I can remember the specifics.
Complete bunk. (Quasi-cite since no real research has been done on these, but it’s just the sort of thing you expect to see Kevin Trudeau lurking behind.)
Whew! I’m finally caught up. We’ve been chatty here for the last couple weeks.
Thanks **kai **for thinking of me. I think things are finally going to get better. Yesterday should be the last insane day for a while. Or at least until TPTB get the forecast approved. Which, considering the fiscal year started a couple weeks ago, should (you’d think) be soon. But I’ve improved the process on that a lot if I do say so myself so it’s no where near as painful as it used to be and it shouldn’t involve too many late nights. Plus, my overall disposition has improved now that we’ve gotten the main living space unpacked in the new house. I think a big part of my work stress was due to being stressed at home over the move. It really sucked staying late at work when I wanted to be at home working on the new house. And when I couldn’t really unwind at home because everywhere I looked there were boxes reminding me that I still had a ton to do to get back to normal. And when I couldn’t find a frickin’ thing that I needed because it was all disorganized. So… to make a long explanation not much shorter, things are better now, thanks!
And kai, I hope you start feeling better soon! It seems like you’ve been sick a lot lately. I do think of you too, especially when we don’t see you for a while. I don’t always get here to say it, but I am thinking it!
Happy Anniversary to the Rebos! Nice of Mr. Rebo to remember and send flowers. Anniversary roses must be expensive this close to Valentine’s day though!
Not much going on here - for all you poor people freezing your butts off I thought I would torture you with the weather in sunny CA. 65 degs and sunny!
