So I’ve had 75 of these. Hmmm. Normally I score higher on this sort of thing, but I’ve never heard of some of this stuff, and some of the ones I often see on lists like this are missing (e.g., lutefisk, turtle soup, horse, ostrich…).
I’ve definitely had:
- Baklava
- Barbecue Ribs
- Biscuits and Gravy
- Calamari
- Clam Chowder
- Crab Cakes
- Fish Tacos
- Fried Catfish
- Fried Plantain (actually, I don’t think it was ever fried, but I’ve had plantain served in several different ways, so I’m counting it)
- Funnel Cake
- Gazpacho
- Goat
- Gumbo
- Heirloom Tomatoes
- Hostess Fruit Pie
- Key Lime Pie (including once in Key West)
- Lobster (although I’ve never eaten a whole lobster, I’ve had lobster ravioli, plus chunks of the meat in other dishes)
- Philly Cheese Steak (not in Philadelphia proper, but in Main Line suburbs)
- Pistachio Ice Cream
- Polenta
- Raw Oysters
- Root Beer Float
- S’mores
- Sauerkraut
- Spaetzle
- Spam
- Sweet Potato Fries
- Venison
So 28 for me. Ones I think – but am not sure – I’ve had include caviar (in salads and spreads), chicken tikka masala (I’ve eaten at several Indian buffets), fresh spring rolls (I know I’ve had basic Chinese buffet spring rolls), goulash (depends how authentic a recipe you have in mind), morels (I do eat a lot of mushrooms), sea urchin (depends if the stuff labeled that at the local Chinese buffet really was the echinoderm in question), and soft-shell crab (as other answers indicate, I do like my seafood).
Have had:

ETA- I think that is 67
Here’s my list, along with my feelings about each item. When I didn’t know what something on the original list was, I assumed that I haven’t had it. That’s likely, but not certain, to be correct.
- Abalone. Yummy.
- Absinthe. Why would anyone ever drink this drain cleaner?
- Baba Ghanoush. OK.
- Bagel and Lox. A breakfast staple here in NYC.
- Baklava. I lived for years in NY’s Greek neighborhood, so, yeah.
- Barbecue Ribs. Slow cook them myself.
- Bellini. Sure.
- Biscuits and Gravy. Excellent for breakfast.
- Black Pudding. Love it. Also blood sausage, more or less the same thing.
- Black Truffle. Yep.
- Borscht. Nice.
- Calamari. My favorite appetizer in an Italian restaurant.
- Caviar. Nice on crackers with cream cheese. Really.
- Cheese Fondue. Boring.
- Chicken and Waffles (together, at the same time). Yes indeed. A classic.
- Chicken Tikka Masala. Not a huge fan of Indian food.
- Chile Relleno. Or Mexican food.
- Chitlins. Had to try it. Disgusting.
- Churros. Nice for snacking.
- Clam Chowder. Manhattan or New England? I like Manhattan better.
- Cognac. Some of them are truly wonderful. Some are less so.
- Crab Cakes. OK.
- Dulce De Leche. Very sweet.
- Durian. Actually not bad.
- Eel. Don’t like it.
- Eggs Benedict. Boring. Ordinary breakfast food.
- Fish Tacos. Depends on where you get them, but can be great.
- Foie Gras. Nice. Not for you if you’re sensitive about animals.
- Fresh Spring Rolls. Nice indeed. There’s a restaurant on Baxter Street (NYC) that does great spring rolls.
- Fried Catfish. Not my favorite fish.
- Fried Plantain. OK. I’d rather have a plain banana.
- Frogs’ Legs. Waste of money.
- Funnel Cake. Great for snacking. See churros, above (#19).
- Gazpacho. Nice soup.
- Goat. OK. Seems to be an Indian thing.
- Goat’s Milk. Not for me. But the cheese can be good.
- Goulash. Filling.
- Gumbo. Excellent when done right.
- Heirloom Tomatoes. Nice.
- Honeycomb. OK, but I don’t especially like honey.
- Hostess Fruit Pie. I used to eat these all the time when I was a kid.
- Huevos Rancheros. Good breakfast.
- Jerk Chicken. Not bad.
- Key Lime Pie. Heaven.
- Lobster. Excellent. A lot of work.
- Mimosa. I’d rather have a Bloody Mary.
- MoonPie. Not since I was a kid.
- Morel Mushrooms. Nice.
- Octopus. Grilled is wonderful. Octopus sushi is great too.
- Oxtail Soup. I love it in the winter.
- Paella. A staple.
- Paneer. OK, nothing special or exotic.
- Pastrami on Rye. Katz’s on Houston has the best.
- Philly Cheese Steak. Greasy.
- Pho. Kind of a broad category, but good stuff.
- Pineapple and Cottage Cheese. The most boring breakfast in the world.
- Pistachio Ice Cream. One of my favorite flavors.
- Po’ Boy. Big ol’ sandwich.
- Pocky. Can’t see the point.
- Polenta. Boring.
- Prickly Pear. Is that guanabana? I love it.
- Rabbit Stew. Great when done right, like any stew.
- Raw Oysters. Wonderful. I love the Oyster Bar at Grand Central.
- Root Beer Float. Brings back memories.
- S’mores. Gross.
- Sauerkraut. On a hot dog, of course.
- Sea Urchin. Not that good.
- Shark. Not a great fish for eating.
- Snail. It’s really the butter and garlic that make snail taste good.
- Soft Shell Crab. I love it.
- Spaetzle. I know I’ve had it, but I can’t remember when.
- Spam. Good stuff. Great for camping. And fried, for breakfast.
- Steak Tartare. Depends on how good the meat is. Really, there are better things to do with good ground beef.
- Sweet Potato Fries. Really good.
- Sweetbreads. Excellent. I get them as an appetizer in Argentine restaurants.
- Umeboshi. Good.
- Venison. Great in season. Nice flavor. Good in stew, too.
- Wasabi Peas. I could eat them all day long.
- Zucchini flowers. Not memorable.
Erased the ones I have not had.
- Abalone – probably, can’t recall
