A Man in Full

Ok scholars, In his novel “A Man in Full” Tom Wolfe mentions a quote he attributes to either of Lenin, or Trotsky…

“You don’t have to believe in the trolley company to let it take you across town.”

OK. Which one (Lenin or Trotsky) said it, and what was the exact quote context (ie speech, writings, etc.) Anyone?

He would say that, the Communist bastard.

I don’t know.

I sold my soul to Satan for a dollar. I got it in the mail.

microbaby, you might want to take this one to General Questions. You’ll get more of a response there.
