To the men who don’t like Bill Clinton: Deep down inside, you are envious that he is happily married and gets blow jobs on the side, without his wife bitching and moaning. When was the last time you got any? He has the looks, the charm, and the guts (to do it in the Oval office). You don’t.
To the women who don’t like Hillary: Deep down inside, you are threatened by her. She has set an example on how a woman can love her man, and in the same time let him be free to have other sexual relations, without making his life miserable and filing for divorce. Since you are incapable of granting your man his freedom, you end up disliking Hillary because she can.
To the men who don’t like Hillary: Deep down inside, you like to see men control women. A woman with Hillary’s personality and intelligence is a threat to you. You don’t want women like Hillary around, as they may possibly inspire your woman to mentally challenge you.
And finally, to the women who don’t like Bill Clinton: oooh, you sure don’t want your husband or your boyfriend to be like Bill. He sets a bad example for your man, and you can’t stand it that he gets away with it. If you were Hillary, you would have immediately taken him to court and milked him all the way to the bank with alimony payments.
The only thing I can see is that you are giving us the only reasons you feel we should like the Clintons.
There are no factual things here, it’s all based on your opinion.
Now if you want to debate as to what makes a great leader then start another thread based on what the Clintons have done or not done and then we have a debate.
Give people something to debate…otherwise you have given in to a popularity contest. How about (including their moral views) some foreign policy, some domestic issues or whatever not just stuff based on his penis and his wife forgiving him…
I am a woman and I don’t feel threatened by Hilary, shit I don’t even know her. As for Bill, he’s UGLY, wouldn’t give him the time of day. But that’s an IMHO thread.
I dunno spooge. I’ve functioned in a thoroughly happy open marriage now for nearly 15 years. People do have arrangements, and for some people, open relationships do work. From what I observed, Hillary didn’t seem too concerned about Bill’s philandering until the American public forced her to, and even then, (IIRC) she never condemned him for it.
Mind you, I’m not saying they do or don’t have a happy marriage, I don’t know, I’m not in it or even close to it. Perhaps time will tell as the spotlight on Bill fades and Hillary establishes herself in the Senate.

Everything in politics does not boil down to the hypothetical insecurities of the populace, despite what your 1st semester psych prof may have told you. Did it occur to you that perhaps people dislike two of the most prominent figures in U.S. politics for political reasons?

remember about 2 years ago before monica hit the headlines and it was just the paula jones lawsuit? there they were, the lovebirds, dancing on a beach in their bathing suits, like newlyweds, so much in love-and someone with a video camera snuck up and caught this wonderful moment and it was on all the news shows-THEY STAGED THE WHOLE THING!!!
what photographer could get that close and get that unobstructed shot of the president of the united states? maybe one hired by hillary to try to convince us that bill is a loving husband who was madly in love with his wife and wouldnt be out exposing himself to paula-
then hillary says “that shot wasn’t faked-what 50 year old woman would allow herself to be photographed in a bathing suit from the rear?” uh…you would hillary, because you love power-
the only thing that i really believe about the clintons is that they really love their daughter, which is wonderful-everything else, i am never sure if they are sincere-and when bill leaves church with that bible in his hand i just burst out laughing-

oh yeah, i forgot to say i voted for clinton , the first time-thats when hillary said on 60 minutes, “yes we,ve had problems in our marriage-it is our business-if that bothers you dont vote for him”

ive been a democrat my whole life and those two, and now gore have turned me off to the party-
and by the way, did you notice how she ignored him at her victory party? more bullshit- “look fellow wives, i let the rat come here, but ill be damned if i acknowledge him” these two are there for the power and the excitement of politics, not any altruitic reasons
