A new DFW tradition, just starting.

Okay, here’s the idea. I want to start a time/place that we can meet on certain days. You’ll know that someone you know will be there. Not a party at someone’s house, not a sit down, eat dinner, and leave thing. … Just a get together place and time where we’ll play it by ear what to do.

I’m proposing starting at Dave and Buster’s at Walnut Hill and Stemmons on 1st and 3rd Fridays at 7:30 (pm of course). We can have dinner, play pool, drink, and whatever else we might want to do. I think it is a good place to start.

My idea is to go somewhere that we can eat, drink and have something to do, play pool, bowl, ice skate, have sex, whatever we want to do. Dave and Buster’s is a good fun place to do stuff. We can change locations if need be as long as we can keep people informed where we’ll be.

Give me some input. Can we start a DFW tradition???

I’m pretty sure about Grace, Zyada and probably Aglarond. So, I’ll probably anchor this thing, so just make sure I have a way of contacting anyone interested.

Zyada may be posting something on our local message board at DFW Adams Family - It’s SDMB, not BDSM. Check there for updates and join just for the hell of it.

I haven’t started the thread yet, but we have an annual Mardi Gras party that we need to get going.

Babs, I picked Northwest Dallas thinking that it would be central enough for most since there are probably more in Dallas than in Ft Worth. Grapevine is more central and there are lots of movies and restaraunts here. Plus Main Events.

But I just wanted to get things going on a regular basis and then we can adjust for the people that are showing up regularly and such.

We are giving it a trial run tonight. Grace, Zyada, Ziactrice, aglarond and I are going to Dave & Buster’s tonight. I think they are all going to make it. Anyway, from about 7:30 till whenever. We’ll probably eat supper there, also.

Anyone else who wants to come join us, please do.

If it seems like a doable thing, we’ll start for real on the 7th of February.

MtGman just dropped me an email about the gathering. My wife and I already have plans for tonight, and I’m out of town on the 7th, but would be happy to join y’all sometime after that.

This has been tossed around for a while, but we’ve really only gotten started in the last couple of days. We’ll work out how to keep everyone informed.

Hopefully we can get things going where it is something you can plan around. … IE: Every 1st and 3rd Friday we’ll be doing something.
