Thrilled to see it and it was dizzying … but the April Fools included some of us turning on to see Samurai Jack and seeing R&M instead. Any idea when the SJ ep will now run? Just a week delayed?
It was a good premiere. It felt like they were tearing down everything established from the last two seasons so they can start fresh which is exciting.
It also made great deal of people Google McDonald’s Schezwan Sauce which I also remember as being really good. And kudos for the accuracy of having the McNuggets in a Chinese food container because that’s actually what McD’s did for that promotion.
Now that we now Rick’s ultimate quest, there could be trouble if this inspires McD’s to reintroduce that sauce in this reality. I don’t want to be a Cronenberg, or worse!

I don’t see anything on Chris Parnell’s Wikipedia page (and people do tend to update pretty religiously about stuff like this) about him leaving the show. So there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing (and hearing) more of Jerry.
Rick C137 dies this episode. His mind has been liquefied. He is not coming back. Too bad. It’s been fun. What do we call the Rick that has been imprinted with the C137 memories?
Uh you might want to spoiler that last post but to answer:
IMO, He’s still Rick C137 since he has the memories of C137, the body doesn’t really matter. Also I got the impression we are meant to think that ALL of the other rick’s died in the fight at the prison so he’s now the only rick. Basically they want to start with a clean slate, so the council of ricks and the galactic federation are now gone.
edit: just checked a fan wiki, apparently C137 is now in the body of Quantum Rick
Damn think I need to re-watch series 1 and 2 in prep for the rest of this season, and when is new Archer coming out?

Loved it! A great kickoff to the new season. Loved seeing Rick mess with his bug interrogator. The last scene in the garage hearkened back to Rick shouting at Morty in the same garage at the end of S1E1.
And wait for the end:
