I have to say, the RepubliKKKan party would have been in much better shape today, if they had gone with the 25th amendment on January 7 or 8, and immediately removed Trump from the office of the presidency. Just torn the bandaid off, and made it abundantly clear that Trump was suffering from mental illness, and they were doing him a kindness by removing him so that he could get the help he so obviously needs.

Any news outlet that relies on the word of “an insider,” “a snitch,” and “it was claimed” (i.e. no-one) doesn’t rate very high in my estimation.
Many people on this board have said that That Man would throw any of his children under the bus if they strayed from his leadership and direction, and that may be what’s happening now. I don’t think we need to suppose that the former first lady’s influence is either necessary or sufficient for this outcome.
