How the fuck is it that ANYONE doesn’t seem to get that nationalism, of any stripe, is Nazism?*
*(and therefore anathema to all civilized peoples, in case it needed to be pointed out)

Isn’t Christian nationalism the philosophy of the KKK?
This seems like an appropriate place to link to Doug Stanhope talking about nationalism from several years ago. Very NSFW audio.
I don’t think the pushback will be that difficult. According to your link the organization Faithful America promotes progressive ideas and social justice.
Clearly MTG will simply claim these are a bunch of pedophiles and “groomers” masquerading as Christians.
Golf crap?
Apparently they were just giving away golf tickets for $1 a pop since turnout was not what they hoped.
Is attendance for big golf tournaments often high? I have zero interest in the sport and so most of my mental imagery is probably from Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack, which featured fairly small crowds.
Man, when you can’t even launder money in a crowd of Saudis…
With that bunch, a billion is mere chicken feed.
They certainly seem crowded when I pan past them on TV, or am forced to watch in a waiting room.
And also Jack Nickleson didn’t have a mob of people who were encouraged by him to dress up as clowns and electrocute people with joy buzzers.
For Major tournaments the attendendance is huge, usually limited by space.
The Open (Brittish) this year - 290,000 spectators to attend The 150th Open over 4 days.
Unprecedented demand to attend this historic milestone for The Open led to more than 1.3 million applications in the ticket ballot and has resulted in the highest-ever number of general admission tickets being issued to fans.
This past weekend at Detroit’s Rocket City Open (normal to small market tourney), around 70,000 for the weekend (2 days).
The Masters in Augusta, GA (major tournament) limited to around 40,000 per day Thursday to Sunday. Earlier in the week, the crowds may reach 50,000.
The Waste Management Open (Phoenix) though not a major has a wildly enthusiastic crowd that totals around 800,000 for the last 5 days (Pro-Am Wednesday, tourney Thur to Sun).
This sounds like they should play it at a landfill.
[Puts away purple suit and lethal joy buzzer.]
The rough there is really rough.
I don’t know whether they are really Trump supporters or not, but they probably come close (my prejudices are mine, OK?) and I don’t know where else to mention this:
It made me chuckle, I forgot my thoughts, prayers, and rain dance.
Ok, full-on belly laugh over here – funniest thing I’ve read in a long time!! I’m so glad you caught it and posted it.
O the soggy Old Testament irony!
If there’s an ‘act of God’ clause in the policy, they’re screwed.
On second thought, why would anyone take out insurance for rain damage on an ark?
Poor workmanship?
